Legal Grounds Espresso Bar

So I just wanna say how much I love Legal Grounds. Both locations are awesome but the new spot is wonderful! Super laid back atmosphere. The art work is lovely. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I love all the variety of coffee they have to offer. I was able to sit peacefully and get some work done. Also, at the new location there’s a drive through! No need to get out if you are in a hurry. This place is my jam 🖤🖤🖤

I was on my way from Baton Rouge to Kansas and had been looking for a coffee shop early in the morning. I read reviews for all the coffee shops from Baton Rouge to Alexandria and this place really sounded great so I decided to pass Lafayette and all the small towns until I came to this one. There are a lot of one way streets around this down town area but it wasn't to hard to find this shop. The staff was very kind and was knowledgeable when it came to his products. He catered to my vegan needs and was very kind as he talked with me about my trip as he worked. I'll definitely stop here again on future trips.

I stopped in with two people and we told the barista 3 times our order was to go yet she still brought one drink out in a mug and said “oh well I thought just the other two drinks were to go”. Why in the world would we get 2 peoples drinks to go and one “for here”. She didn’t apologize or offer to fix it. Overall she wasn’t friendly at all and shouldn’t be in this type of business with that attitude. I was hoping to find a new spot to visit on my road trips but unfortunately I’ll be trying out the other coffee shop down the road next time.

The best option for good coffee downtown. Dedicated staff and owners know how to make a great tasting latte without scorching the milk! You won't be waiting 10 minutes for your coffee here. Prices are reasonable and they have a loyalty program to earn a free coffee.

Great place, great coffee. Customer service is awesome. I've visited a handful of times and each time I was very satisfied. The employees are friendly and the service is fast. I'd definitely recommend as a quick coffee stop.

Legal Grounds is the best coffee shop in Alexandria in my opinion. The customer service is exceptional staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. The products they serve here are outstanding the quality of the coffee and Expresso the use at this local gem are far better than what any big box stores has to offer.

This a coffee shop I was not aware existed. Its nested over by the government buildings which is likely where it gets its name. Its a nice establishment with competent service and good coffee. Maybe due to social media, one sometimes feels people are looking, & just looking. This place is small so there is not too much wiggle room to seek out a corner for privacy.

The gentleman who helped us went above and beyond to create our drinks like we wanted and explained available flavors for us. he even split my kids' drink into 2 separate, smaller cups because they were sharing. that always helps put a smile on their faces and that sort of service is always appreciated! Wish we had gotten his name, he was very knowledgeable in his art and the drinks were perfect!!

Some of the best coffee I've ever had! I love this place and is now my go to for coffee. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere which makes it a good place for working or studying.
