We decided to visit due to the great reviews and quickly realized why, because the personal service they offer is unmatched!
I definitely recommend stopping to eat here. We will definitely be returning when we come back this way.

The food is well cooked with creative flare. Everything I had was very tasteful.

Never bother. Catering is in the name but this is not their game contact this company for over a week and they try to offer you breakfast foods for a wedding dinner. I waited three days just even get a response after leaving a email and voicemail to the calf that is only open three days a week apparently at odd hours of times. Then you won’t get an answer until around one or two in the morning from these people. But when you do get a response in the morning time it’s just them trying to give you a runaround menu or ideas. Then when you ask for pricing they will not give it to you and then when you asked for different options and they don’t like that you have options. You are ignored and they have chosen to lie and say they scheduled someone else as of today after asking for something other than breakfast food for a wedding. You’re telling me I’ve been trying to get this scheduled for over a week and I couldn’t even make it happen when I’ve already scheduled A wedding cake hotel rooms for 35+ people and I’m doing this all by myself. Like honestly money is not even the issue for us we just wanted good food and not casserole and breakfast for a weeding for people driving 4 to 6 hours to come and want to eat. Don’t waste your time like we have! Go anywhere but here. Edit lol what the response was for saying I’ll be going to social media to report these issues to help others

Stopped for dinner while visit the area and were treated like family. Free slice of tomato pie just so we could try it! Food was yummy and the atmosphere was casual and homey.

Good hometown cooking, what's not to love? It's a small place that stays busy but don't let that stop you from giving this place a try. If you're looking for comfort food you'll be glad that you did. On our visit we met several repeat customers who brought friends with them, one large group wasn't from the area but said when they come to their lake house they always stop in to eat here. As a first time visitor it was good to hear.

Awesome homemade food and super nice owners!

We liked the food at this establishment and everyone was friendly to us while we were there. Upon making arrangements to have an event catered, the owner assured us he could do it but he'd have to look into costs and get back to us with an estimate. We have called and left messages with no return call and certainly didn't expect it to take up to three weeks for someone to get back to us with pricing details on a time sensitive event. A phone call just to let us know that it wasn't possible would've been appreciated. I would've easily given five stars if this issue had been handled instead of ignored.

Cold mashed potatoes..good pintos..small serving of meat..2 sides 2 drinks 2 desserts.36 dollars..peanut butter pie tasted like eating right out of the peanut butter jar..not right..very small serving of dumpling which was my meat dish..it was all juice..only a few dumplings which Were not home made..I'd rather have cracker barrel..which would have been twice better...we Never received a ticket..when we went up to pay...they kind of added it in their head ?? I like to SEE a ticket so I could catch a mistake or at least know the price of food

If you're looking for real down home cooking, this is the place to go. I had the BBQ Ribs (which fell off the bone). My huband had Catfish and Frog legs. He said they were awesome. I ate his tomato pie....omg!
The staff is really friendly. We had long talks of the places to go in and around Smiths Grove, KY.

Great place. Casual setting. Great food. This is down home at its best. These are local people selling local food. Highly recommend you come here. Walk on in head up to the counter and tell them what you want. Find a seat and they will bring you your food. Come hungry. The plate was piled high. Oh and don't get any food on your forehead or you tongue will slap you brains out trying to get to it. Yep it's that good.
