Cute little coffee place in Owensboro, KY! Got an iced and hot latte. The coffee/espresso is a lighter roast, so if you like the bold coffee taste in your drinks be sure to ask for extra espresso.

We stopped at this coffee shop as we were driving home from Mammoth Cave and saw the good reviews. Those reviews don’t lie! 1) the aesthetics of this shop are beautiful! Super clean and a beautiful place. 2) the coffee is delicious! I ordered a salted caramel oat milk latte (perfect creaminess with a little sweetness) and my husband got a drip coffee and said it was the best tasting coffee he had all week (and we’ve been road-tripping all week). Highly recommend this wonderful place for your coffee needs!

My family and I came to Kahawa Java after Thanksgiving; there were many of us in the small, well-appointed space, but it didn’t feel crowded. The baristas were helpful and created a calm, welcoming environment. The coffee was delicious, strong, and flavorful. If you’re looking for a great game night spot, work-from-home location, or date, Kahawa Java is the place!

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I work right down the road and stop here once or twice a week. Everyone is always so friendly and the coffee is the best around. If you haven’t given it a try, do yourself a favor and stop in.

love kahawa java!! it’s so cute inside and they serve great coffee using beans from frothy monkey in nashville. the owners and staff are so kind and they are very accommodating! i always get half decaf and some coffee shops are unable to accommodate the request even though it isn’t very difficult. they offer great seasonal drinks and have something for everyone :)

This is the most beautiful coffee shop I have ever been in! I ordered the same thing I get at Starbucks and this coffee was better and cheaper than Starbucks. It will definitely be the only place I go for coffee.

The ladies here are awesome and the coffee is great! Highly recommend this local small business over the big chain spots in town.
