We had high hopes with all the great reviews but were let down. It took us over an hour to get three breakfast dishes and I would’ve understood MAYBE if the place was full packed, but it was a regular amount of people. They were very good about refilling coffees. But The pancake was like a cardboard slab, the French toast tasted like a grease top mess, but the breakfast sandwich was good.
They also don’t advertise it well, but they only take cash or check so just be aware of that if you’re deciding to try it out yourselves.

I visited on a extra busy Saturday morning. Service was swift and food was excellent.

This is one of the best places to get breakfast in Owensboro!! They have phenomenal food, huge meals, & the best prices in town! Definitely a home style breakfast, and very friendly waitresses that will make you feel like part of the family. Very tasty coffee as well. The place is nothing fancy, but don’t let that fool you! The food is more than worth it, & you won’t find any place that gives the amount of food for such a low price! I have even gotten takeout many times when I don’t feel like dragging the kids out of the house. It is a nice place to go with the whole family though as they have large tables to accommodate quite a few people.

I don't usually do bad reviews, but I'm going to start here. Walking in, I immediately felt uncomfortable. Like I was intruding on a private party or something. The staff was extremely friendly with the "regulars", which made it even worse for an out of towner. The food was meh, but I think that might have been part of the atmosphere. It could have been that I didn't get what I ordered, I guess the staff was too busy paying attention to the locals than to listen to me order. Cash or check only. There are too many other places for me to try than to return here, and even if it was the ONLY place, I wouldn't return.

We love supporting non franchise places. Food was good. It took a very long time to get our food. Literally 30 minutes. They only take cash so after eating I had to run to the bank come back and pay.

Absolutely Delish! We came to fill up before a long drive home ,they were able to accommodate out 8 person group and even reserved a table for us. Service was great and food did not disappoint. Soon Good!

The food was really good, real homemade biscuits & good! Coffee is huge for me & her coffee was too weak for my taste buds and wasn't quite as flavorful as I like. I had an adequate amount of food for $11. The service was just okay. There was a good crowd so I assumed they were regulars and must really like it. It was the first time I had been there in several years. I would go back. But might take my own coffee
