Can I say Everything Is Great! Brunch, Lunch & delicious deserts from cookies to petit fours to cakes and pies and huge cinnamon rolls and more!

Excellent sugar cookies and the cake with chocolate, cheesecake and coconut (can't remember the name). We also got a cinnamon roll, sticky bun, and some scones that we plan to have tomorrow morning. The woman who checked us out gave my wife and I free cookies since it was our first time there, and also a couple free muffins since it was getting close to closing time. She was so very nice! This place is a must visit any time I'm in Morehead!

Hubby and I made a trip to Lexington and stopped in Morehead to eat on our way home.

I got their summer salad (no nuts on mine) and the hubs got a chicken salad sandwich with their roasted red pepper soup and we shared a slice of cheesecake with chocolate sauce. Everything was DELICIOUS!

If you get a chance to go to Morehead, KY please stop in here...make sure you check if they are open because they told me they are only open on certain days 😊

This place is a true gem! I normally eat plant based but I decided to get the chicken salad and my boyfriend got the Reuben with pasta salad and it was fantastic (: We tried the cinnamon roll and sticky bun for later and I would 100000% recommend it all. Thank you all for being so sweet there too, they even gave us 2 free cookies in our bag for being first time customers 🥺

Great local bakery! They have an awesome selection of cookies and desserts. It’s not a meeting without some root a bakers cookies! They also have a ham an cheese braid that is an ideal yummy family dinner to pick up on your way home. It’s best to order ahead if you want something special and to ensure they have it ready.

I would have loved to have eaten there or bought pastries but when I walked in I was never greeted. I waited about 4 minutes, there were three other customers already inside, but no one behind the counter acknowledged me. I walked over to the other side where the pastries were kept and again none of the employees came over to see if I wanted anything. By the time I walked back to the other area there was now a line out the door and not once did I hear an employee, there were at least 3 employees, greet anyone. By that point I just walked out and left. It is obviously a popular place but my experience was not a good one. 😟

Wonderful local cafe, delicious fresh foods, all you can ask for in small town charm.

Exceptional food and service! Very happy we tried this on our visit to Morehead. The sausage, cheddar scone and brunch quiche was absolutely amazing. Definitely check this place out if you get the chance!

Wow! What a gem! I was down here for work and this place was recommended to me. It showed up on Trip Advisor as a bakery so i hadn't looked at it as a place for lunch.

They have a lot of interesting items on the menu and the group of us had several of them. All outstanding! They brought bites of savory and sweet scones to the table as 'something to warm up your tastebuds before your meals get here!'

Everything was amazing. The waiter was great and offered suggestions. The baked goods were great too! Try the cranberry walnut bread!
