This may be the worse restaurant review I’ve done sadly. I’m a foodie, anyone who knows me knows that to be true. I love experiencing new places. This time, I’m severely disappointed. Anything with noodles including wonton soup is over cooked. The chicken on the stick was bland. The doughnuts were like little rocks coated with sugar. The only thing good was the Rangoons and potatoes. If you mess up potatoes though you need to never own a kitchen. This will be a one time visit for sure.

I love the food... but it is not always hot. For the price we pay to go out, I would like it to be HOTTER AND MORE FRESH.
Usually clean, but last couple times tables have dishes sitting on them.
Restroom is clean.

Few people there; off hours closer to closing. Good food on buffet. No Ice cream, and no cookies, that is my usual dessert. Clean tables, buffet and restaurant kept clean.

Funny front desk worker! Good down to earth man. Good food! Decent portions! Awesome flavor. Definitely would recommend for here in Morehead.

I don't care what the other reviews say. I like this place, I like the food and I will continue eating here. The guy who works the front counter is friendly. I enjoy filling up a togo box and taking it home. I can get enough to make 2-3 meals for around $12 Or so. I would recommend to friends too.

Personally I've ate both in-store and take out.
The prices are decent for takeout and lunch buffet with what's offered and freshness at times. Take out though is in microwavable containers unlike most places.also In-store has much better customer service than take out as exemplified by my last visit.

I called in from Lexington to get a order of beef lo mein NO vegetables and crab Rangoon. We decided all that was to be done in 50 mins or so, as it was raining heavily and I wanted it to cool some before going home so I could have a bit of crab Rangoon while driving. I arrive, pay for my meal and double check order(it still wasn't ready) at 55 mins). After waiting for a bit, I ask again make sure order is correct as the cashier had opened door since payment 5 times. Once again it was recited as correct. When I get home, my order was only correct with the facts of beef lo mein and crab Rangoon. IF I was allergic to the mushrooms, or vegetables used instead of the dislike of them, they'd have caused me a allergic reaction and I'd have cause for many ramifications. I though am not petty but I seriously am thinking of banning my household from this restaurant unless it's fine in. This is not first time this has happened, but I'm seriously considering it being last. Rather it's cooking staff(as slip shows order as in past been shown) or incompetence I can not say. I though gave them one last chance to correct this, as I had not been there in months for this very reason. Yet to my dismay, the problem still exists. Proof is in pudding as they say.

When you enter a Chinese restaurant, you expect fresh food that has an admirable taste. However, when me and my family ate, none of the food tasted fresh, or closely resembled anything that Ive eaten before. Its not worth 8.75. Its not worth 5. The food is old. None of the buffet seems worth its price. Dont go to the place. Wendys is a lot easier to find than this terrible place.

This place has the best bean curd dish in a 100 mile radius. I know. I've been trying them all. To me, the effort put into that dish quantifies the work ethic in the kitchen. If you won't cook tofu well for someone who is vegetarian for religious and health reasons, what are you doing with the beef?

I love the buffet's variety and freshness. The staff is very friendly and the venue is always clean. The best part are the to-go boxes that you can fill up from the buffet, and they charge by the pound.

Asked what was in the buffet sushi rolls bc husband has a shellfish allergy, they said they didnt know. Called back later before my husband ate the rolls to ask if the crab meat was real or imitation, he said he didnt know so I asked if I could speak to the chef, proceeded to hang up the phone and hang up once more when i tried calling back.
