If you're looking for a restaurant that serves up delicious soul food, Sweet Peaches is the place to go. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, this diner, bakery, caterer, coffee shop, sandwich shop, and soul food restaurant offers a variety of dishes that will satisfy your cravings.
Although the restaurant's hours are not listed, customers rave about the food and service. One customer mentioned that the staff was "the friendliest" they've met in a long time. Another customer said that the food was "absolutely delicious."
The menu offers a variety of dishes, including oxtail, fried chicken, whole chicken wings, fish, brisket, macaroni and cheese, greens, sweet potatoes, and cornbread muffins. Customers also recommend the strawberry lemonade and the pineapple upside-down cake.
The restaurant's interior is cozy and welcoming, with a French vibe and limited seating. Delicious chicken and dressing **I do not like thighs and legs but it was delicious & cooked to perfection . Also the greens were seasoned just right. Cornbread muffins were the freshest I’ve eaten in a long time. And to top it off a piece of pineapple upside down cake that was a reminder of my mom. Thank you and may you always succeed in all your endeavors. Sweet Peaches & Family

Absolute friendliest staff I've met in a long time. Me and my girlfriend are clearly not local and they welcomed us with open arms. I got the oxtail which is easily the best oxtail I've ever eaten. My gf got fried chicken which also blew her mind. Although we were saddened to continue our road trip past Louisville we would love to return for this one restaurant again.

Can we say this will DEFINITELY have you coming back?? For today's lunch I had the catfish dinner with pasta salad, cole slaw and bread. Sweet Peaches does not disappoint! Catfish was fried fresh and seasoned to perfection! Hit the spot on a rainy Friday.

Wow wow wow! We came from Chicago and got Sweet Peaches to cater breakfast for our soccer tailgate this past weekend and that food was INCREDIBLE! Miss Pam and her team really did that! I love that they came to us at the stadium and did all the set up. The guys who came were awesome- super friendly and cracking jokes with us. The food!!! I have no words it was so good! I was so busy eating I didn’t even take a picture of my plate. The biscuits and gravy were out of this world and the rest of the food was just as good. Next time I’m in Louisville I will definitely come here. Thank you again Miss Pam, Chicago loves you!

This was my first time going into Sweet Peaches. I went on my lunch, with an hour to spare. I walked in the door, and it was as though everything and everyone stopped, which was awkward. I spoke to everyone and waited and waited another customer walked in and the owner started chatting it up with the customer, there was a woman at the counter taking a catering order, neither one of these women asked me could they help me. The owner asked the customer that walked in after me what could she get for her. I stood there and finally she asked me what I wanted to order. I ordered a chicken soup. I waited nearly 45 minutes to get a chicken soup. As other customers were coming in the lady at the counter told them that if it's your 1st visit you get a free cookie, neither she or the owner offered me any complimentary cookie. I am one that loves to support small businesses especially owned by women. The customer service was terrible and if took me 45 minutes to get a cup of soup then my business would not be in business for long. First impressions are everything and this was absolutely the worst customer service I have received in a long time.

I highly recommend this place. We loved this place. The fried chicken was amazing plump, juicy and delicious. This not your average fried chicken. Mynsides were sweet potatoes, and greens which were also amazing. All the food was prepared hot while we waited by the owner and served by the owner who was delightful. While should food is served here this is not just another soul food place. It is excellent food prepared with delicious family recipes.

You may have to wait a minute to get your food but it was sooooooo worth the wait!!!!! They ran out of a few items and I'm assuming because it was tasty. The Croquettes were delicious, mac and cheese, dressing and yams. The owner and She/Pam was an absolute delight😁 I highly recommend this establishment. We live 2 hours away and definitely planning to return.
