Some of the best coffee in Lexington can be found right here. The passion and work put into the product is very evident. You'll often find Dave the owner serving coffee and conversation to his customers as well as some really awesome whole bean coffee and local pastries. I recommend the cold brew if you're a fan of fruity, intense brews or any of their specialty espresso drinks!

I placed an online order for coffee last year, waited several weeks, and received no notification other than the initial order confirmation. I had to call to get the coffee delivered -- apparently one of the coffees I ordered was out of stock, but instead of updating their website or contacting me about it, they just didn't do anything until I called. I foolishly placed another order this year, because I like their coffee, and the same thing has happened, only this time when I call, I get a recording saying that the number is no longer in service. I don't even know if they're still in business. Anyway, definitely a place to avoid.

Just had the peach vanilla iced coffee and a scone. Incredible! My new favorite coffee shop in Lexington. A must try. Thanks David.

Ordered the coffee roasting class online, showed up on the day (all 5 of us) and the shop was closed. I think the number for Smokin Aces was disconnected. I tried to follow up and went on a Saturday at like 11 am (during normal buskness hours) and again, the lights were off. The shop was closed.
UPDATE: We reached out and they got back to us to reschedule the class.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and basic unisex bathroom. Small cozy coffee shop with typical coffee choices and prices.

I always try to shop local when traveling so I stopped in while in town for a wedding. The mural work outside was enough to make me stop, but the coffee was delicious! I had an iced americano (albeit non-traditional with it being blended) and it was fantastic. The owner roasts his own coffee in-house and was a pleasure to chat with. Check it out!

The roasting is done right in the shop, behind the counter. The bar equipment was good, space is limited (2 chairs). Coffee was decent, would definitely try again.

Quiet place to sit and have great coffee. Espresso is good quality, and not too sour. Neat roasting machine you can see while you wait.

I would leave 6 stars if I could! This is the best coffee I have ever had, and the variety of options is amazing. The barista was so informative and even explained the roasting process and how he pulls espresso. He was so kind and professional and I could tell he cares a lot about his craft. The shop is located right down the street from my workplace so I will be frequenting it often!

The barrista and owner Dave is an absolute legend! An amazing coffee, I had a Cortado and he killed it! Sun drenched space in a geat part of town.
