Far Out Espresso - Italian Café

Been looking for study spots around Lexington besides the typical. This was a lifesaver to find because it’s summer so the UK student library isn’t open as much or as late. Great place to study and they close at 10, which is almost unheard of in Lexington. There’s a bar and restaurant. I got a brown sugar cinnamon frappe and even without the whipped cream, it was SOOO good! Very cool furniture in there too. And they were extremely personable, welcoming and accommodating. I’ll be back for sure.

I'm not a coffee fan, but the hot chocolate I had was absolutely the BEST I have ever had! Also the cannoli were VERY good. In several visits, I have had the Sicilian (traditional), the Caramel pecan and the Triple chocolate - ALL were really, really good!

Absolutely loved it! Found it on a whim looking for coffee shops and it will be a fav stop anytime we're in lex! Drinks were amazing, food was everything, and I loved the couple working!

Such a great little spot! I got one of their new breakfast bagel sandwiches to go, the Chocolate Banana Nut, and it was so good! I'd never been before, but it had been on my list of to-go places. Next time I'll try a coffee, looking forward to coming back in soon.

We used to visit Far Out when it was in Georgetown, so we are long time fans and supporters. The coffee was top tier as always and the truffle fries were amazing.

Stop in yall! We went in on a Sunday and had some of the best drinks we’ve had at a local coffee shop. Plus the barista (maybe manager or owner, not sure) informed us it was Sunday and John Denver day. I love that. We will definitely be regular patrons.

Great food! Excellent and knowledgeable staff that helped with vegan options. Heck ya they have vegan cannolis!!! Worth the price. Atmosphere is very Lexington KY at heart Expresso tastes amazing and delta 8 shot was a great add-on. A gem of a place. I'll be returning customer. I want to try everything!

The place was very dirty. Baristas were more interested in goofing off than making decent coffee or cleaning up. I specifically made a trip there to support local business. I was very disappointed. I know they're fairly new, so I hope they can get it together.

Nice coffee shop. Good decor. Cappuccino was good, so was the chai tea latte. The barista was very nice and accommodating.

One suggestion I would make is to have the sugar/creamer/stirrer etc. table be in a more visible location (I also did not see any stirrers on the table today).

Great place to grab a cup, they use organic, fair trade certified beans from City Roastery which have these awesome notes of chocolate and nuts. A full spectrum of plant and animal milks available as well as actual heavy cream, not just half and half. Definitely check out the Italian desserts as well, you won't find a more satisfying tiramisu in Lexington. 💯
