I have been meaning to check this new location out and finally found some time to give it a shot. I will start off with the location. This place was decently busy (12-15 customers) and I showed up about 30m before they closed. The location is a beautiful place with several rooms all offering a different feel. I walked up to the counter and there was no one at the counter. I waited about 5 minutes before noticing a small bell that would need to be pushed. (Not a fan of these especially with a place full of guests). I tapped the bell and a young lady came out and asked if I needed help. I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and tried to make some small talk about the new location while she was making it (this didn't go anywhere). The drink was about 4oz with the foam and $4.75. While the price was fine the portion was exceptionally small. I was able to finish it with 3 sips. The taste was also good. There is a small alcove with some merchandise and the walls are also full of Beautiful local pictures that are for sale. Overall the location is great, the beverage I tried tasted good and the Merchandise was appealing. Where the visit could have been improved would be a bigger serving and a more outgoing Barista. Definitely worth checking it out.
I was so delighted to find out that the old lamp store was converted into a coffee shop. I love that this old building is now a lovely coffee shop. I had turkey pesto panini, decaf oat milk latte and a sugar cookie and it was all very good.
I loved the setting of the inside of the shop; it was cozy, ambient, and lovely, and they even have a little boutique inside the shop. They also have sitting area upstairs, plenty of sitting area.
The only thing will be that I couldn't find a coffee shop sign "Brevede" and I wasn't sure where the main entrance was. I hope you don't take this in a critical tone of voice. I loved your shop and I hope to return with my children one day.
I went with a dear friend of mine for a morning latte and loved the atmosphere. We sat by the fireplace and chatted for a few hours. Looks like they will be adding an upstairs soon. Glad we finally have a local coffee shop in Chevy Chase!
I LOVE this location, even more than the original location. I love the area where it is located, and I just love the building and the atmosphere is excellent, and I feel like I could have a good conversation with a friend there but also I am able to find a quiet corner to study or read a book. I had a mocha and a butter croissant. So delicious!
Monday, May 8, 2023 - 8:15 a.m. I ordered a decaf, Honey Cinnamon, coconut milk latté from Taylor, an excellent Barista! And a perfect cup. 👍 👍
I'm hanging out until noon, visiting my new granddaughter about half a mile away, and my son recommended Brevedé as their favorite coffee shop. I'd already been to the original location on Manchester my first day here, May 5.
Around 9:45 a.m., I ordered a tea from Taylor, and met Veurika, owner with her husband, Nick. She shared the concept of Brevedé giving back to the community around the shops.
I love the atmosphere, the spirit and heart behind the business, and the excellence offered in everything from drinks, to food, to good conversation. ♥️
A great place to visit or "hang out" for a while! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Great decor, nice wooden floors, clean bathroom. Staff was very nice. Drinks tasted good (capuccino and chai latte) but portion size was quite small (but that might just be because chain coffee shops have changed expectations with their giant serving sizes).
Of note, they don't have high chairs for kids or anything.
Overall, would come here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to other people.
The cutest little coffee shop! It has plenty of seating in multiple rooms, so it's not too noisy, and the decor is really nice. Good location, and my latte had a cute heart on top.
Such a cute little coffee shop. The girls are the front were very friendly and helpful and even gave us a little info about the area. Great place for a quiet coffee

Super cozy vibes. Good for 1-2 person meetups, not a big group spot. Quality espresso!
