Lake Cumberland Resort III

Had a great vacation at the Stay Awile Cottage. Everything was perfect and Dianna is a great host. We will definitely return.

Was a great stay, until we left. Company is forcing us to pay $203 to replace a stool that was sat on and supposedly broke serving its intended purpose. When I called and asked questions about the incident and asked for the extra pictures they told me they had and to try to understand why we were being changed over $200 for what looked like easily repairable damage that may not have even been our fault I was accused of being "hostile and argumentative" and making the representative feel "uncomfortable" for asking these questions. Will not be booking again.

We really loved 😍 our stay the place was gorgeous and absolutely no issues. Just wonderful.

If you (I hope you don’t when you read other recent reviews) decide to get a cabin from this place, make sure you don’t sit/lean on anything there. The owner decided to save money on upgrading to a new furniture in the cabin by charging guests for the price of a full set for a minor small repair that could be glued in 10 seconds (I’m not being dramatic, but any reasonable person would be shocked about how much they’re charging for it). Would not recommend and will not come back again.

Our family stayed at Lake Cumberland Resort 6/30/17 to 7/7/17 at Lookout View. The people at this resort were friendly and outgoing, genuinely caring people. The house was very clean and exactly as pictures depicted. We had everything we needed available to us. It was a great vacation area for relaxing in a quiet environment. I would definitely recommend this resort and this house to anyone looking for a great get-away.

The area is absolutely beautiful. The house we stayed at needed quite a bit of maintenance. Screen doors needed to replaced and we had a mouse. We reported it immediately and never followed up with the information. Secondly the restaurant/grocery store was opened maybe once in the 8 days we were there.

Amazing vacation for my family and I. We had plenty of space for the 10 of us, and having the amenities of a house was far better than a hotel room.

I have stayed at the resort here a few times, the new owner is amazing and the staff is great! The office is updated and now offers snacks, shirts and basic necessities if you forgot them. I will definitely continue to stay at this resort.

Great place to take your family for some great fun on the lake ,in the pools and in the Cabins. The staff is great! I have lived on Keno road my whole life and the Resort has brought great things to our area!! They also allow us to use the boat ramp for putting in our own boats and fishing!!

Had an absolute blast this weekend at Lake Cumberland until I received a dreadful message regarding “damages.” The company is demanding us to pay $203 to replace a stool/bench that was intended to be sat on. None of us are overweight so there is absolutely no reason why the stool should have collapsed. When we called to ask why we were being charged such an outrageous amount, the representative was extremely disrespectful about the whole situation. For all we know the stool could have been broken already before we even arrived at the cabin. Will be going somewhere else on the next trip.
