The Kitchen

Everything was fantastic, from the food to the service, it was on point. The Lunch Burger had a great flavor and the portions weren't overwhelming. The pomegranate lemonade was great. Getting a fast, tasty lunch for 12 bucks was a heck of a deal. Absolutely would be back!
And, the cookies are huge and tasty!

6. Food was good. We can’t wait to stop in for brunch or lunch!
* We tried the Beef Stroganoff & the Cali Turkey burger. As well as the Disco Fries ( Chicken, Fries, Mozzarella & Gravy )
Also tried the Boozy Lavender Lemonade.

THINGS WE DIDN’T —
1. Customer service could have been better. It wasn’t busy when we arrived, and not having been there before, it was unclear if we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We asked for straws, to which we never got, and then ordered a drink which we didn’t get and had to take it to go. Could have had a better flow.

2. As the evening went on it did get pretty loud.

The Kitchen has a awesome dish I eat every time we go. The whiskey beef stroganoff is so decadent and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The shrimp scampi is my hubby’s go to. He never eats the same thing twice but he did the scampi. Fresh made everything like the best brownies.

Excellent food. Great portions for a reasonable price. Service was was friendly, but slower than what I'd prefer. Woll definitely go back though!

This place is so good. I’ve had the stroganoff, disco fries, chicken and waffles. All SO good. Quaint little place.

This was our first time in. Wait staff was amazing, Atmosphere was clam, clean place, love the old tile floor. Had a loud echo is the only disadvantage I found. Simple menu with lots of yummy sounding food. We will be back to try more, and save room for a pie it's the best.

Only marked-down atmosphere because the volume of noise. That's on me, great place to meet and have a good time/ good food!

Southwest Chicken Bowl may have been the freshest I have eaten in town. The grilled chicken was well seasoned, hot and tender. The other ingredients were well -balanced in the amounts served. In other words, the rice and greens did not overwhelm the other ingredients. I will go back.

I was recently in Wichita for a week on business and The Kitchen was recommended by a friend. I have some allergy restrictions and the owner was very helpful in finding something that would fit my needs. I ate here three times and each time the food was outstanding - steak, chop and chicken. Great location in oldtown Wichita. When in town again I will be back. Thanks.

Love clean eating options. Lots to choose from had Thai bowl- I should have asked for more dressing. Waitress was polite (but a tad militant).
