Churn & Burn

I have been to Churn and Burn on multiple occasions and have a great experience most every time! I love the unique choices and watching them make the desserts is so much fun! I bring new people there frequently and recommend it often. However, today I had a less good experience with the usually friendly staff. The woman that helped us straight up told us that one of the flavors was “super gross” and “disgusting.” I tried the flavor she was talking about and enjoyed it but felt judged by her and decided not to order it because of that. On top of that she also found it necessary to comment that I was “way too young to be married” after she spotted my wedding ring while I was paying. I’m sad to have had this experience and to take away a star to a place I love so much, but the service by that employee left a bad taste in my mouth.

Fantastic ice cream and friendly service!

OMG!!! This place is AWESOME!!! 2 thumbs up definitely 5 stars. Staff was really nice and helpful, clean inside and outside area's. I had a c&b tiramisu with homemade whipped topping, AMAZING! I can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

The BEST place ever. To say I am addicted is an understatement. For the chocolate lovers give the Dark Chocolate Ice Cream a try.

I absolutely love the cinnamon rolls they make although lately they've slacked a bit as my last order was terribly cold and looked like it was pre-made since the icing was not melted at all. Still, I love the cinnamon rolls and the person who delivers them to me!!

The old Joyland signs and atmosphere were cool, the staff was kind but not super knowledgeable...everyone was asking someone else how to do something etc. Newer business, not a big deal. The ice cream was okay, but the included toppings and add-on ingredients were rare in what we received. Oh, and the Italian cream sodas are super authentic. Club soda, and cream that's it. Perhaps my palette needs some adjusting...

Great drinks... I tried the $7.25 coconut concoction and really enjoyed it. They have cheaper (smaller sized $3-5) drinks in other flavors but not this one. 🤓
We would be frequenting this place often. I can see them growing in other parts of town already.

Great coffee and ice cream or combo selections. Cozy place with quick service despite a short wait due to its popularity. The price isn't terrible and the product is delicious. Fun and friendly atmosphere that is welcoming to both a college crowd and families at the same time.

The ice cream of this place is fantastic. Second to none on the ingredients. They have greatly sped up the made-to-order production of your dishes. Given how long the line was, I think it's time to speed up the order taking as well.
