Their muffins are delicious. Their coffee isn't too bad either. They open very early. A plus when you're looking for someplace to warm up and eat. The staff has always been very nice.

Been wanting to try the crepes for a while. We made it in this morning finally. My friend had a sweet crepe I had the new Orleans crepe. They were both delicious! Savory and reasonably quick to get. The chai was delicious too. Great little place for a break and a bite. Check em out and support your local Topeka businesses.

Nice place. Every time I visit Topeka I have to come and get a banana Nutella crepe with a caramel latte.

Absolutely LOVE ❤️ World Cup Espresso is a neat little mix of college students, moms with babies, old-timers and hipsters all drawn in by the exceptional coffees, lattes, frappes and handmade crepes. My favorite is the Snowball Kicker, an iced mocha with whip cream that goes down so smoothly(and quickly)I was worried about brain freeze. The staff is out of this realm friendly, the prices are within reason and the ambience is warm and welcoming. If you haven't been there yet, do yourself a treat and stop by! I can almost guarantee you'll be hooked after the first visit!

I am a huge fan of breakfast anytime, yet rarely have the opportunity. So, when I do, I want it to be really good. Well, the "sweet" banana bread and the "savory" 5-star crepes, were both ambrosial. The actual crepes were made to perfection, with a slight browning, allowing texture, without being tough to cut or chew. The crepes themselves, were stuffed with the just the right amount of filling, delivering a slightly different, but equally delicious taste, with each bite. The food, paired with a cozy atmosphere and someone you love, truly is the simple recipe for a lovely Sunday afternoon, you will find yourself soon longing for.

I regularly do business over coffee at the World Cup. It is a local coffee house and not a chain. The employees are friendly and they cater to a lot of Washburn University students. Many are studying with their laptops. The prices are very reasonable. It is clean though not fancy. It is often crowded but I have never had a problem getting a table. To place your order you go up to the counter. There is no table service. It is a relaxed atmosphere and I will continue to go back for business meetings.

My coffee was cold and it was a hot black coffee 😅

It’s very slow here. I’ve been waiting for 14 minutes for a mocha they still haven’t started. They made the food and coffee for the people after me, but I’m still waiting. I would leave if I didn’t already pay. I don’t come here often because this happens most of the time I’m here.

This place would be fine if it was just called something like "World Cafe" 'cause the coffee didn't taste all that good to me. Whenever I go out and I'm Jonesin' for coffee I always get a caramel macchiato and every other place I've gone to always has a sweet taste except this place. First two times I ordered the macchiato from here both times the drinks tasted very bitter and I hardly tasted any caramel. Today I got a cappachino because I was told it was the sweet kind. I tried it. It tasted like black coffee with just a little bit of creamer topped with foam. Where is the sweet?? Maybe the locals like their caffeine bitter. Maybe I've been spoiled since in Washington coffee shops are around every corner. Everything overall was fine. Just not the coffee imo. I'll come back here again and see if the smoothies are any good.

The espresso was worse than chain store espresso. It was thin and bitter with no flavor other than the bitterness. Other people I was with had flavored drinks and they were fine. Cute little shop with tasty pastries.
