What an unfriendly staff! I thought a local place would be a lot more friendly than franchises like Starbucks. yikes, the girl that received my order this morning was so flat, dry, and unkind that I felt like I insulted her somehow in the 3 seconds that I walked up to the counter. As soon as my payment went through, she just turned around and walked away. It is awful that I have to pay this much for small drink and felt so horrible.... I don't think I will come back. By the way, thanks for the lukewarm drink for my ice latte!

Love PT’s coffee and have for years. We live in Colorado, but have family in Topeka and this is a must visit if you like good, locally roasted coffee. The new shop is even closer to my in-laws than the College Hill location which is really nice. I was tempted to leave off one star because the music when I was working there was pretty annoying... Southern Gospel interspersed with cheesy smooth jazz... a little weird in a modern coffee shop, but I suppose some of their patrons might love it. Apart from personal preference it wasn’t a problem, and most likely if I’d asked they would have changed it. The coffee was delicious of course and everything else about the new place is awesome!

The coffee is great!
The vanilla latte with oat milk my mom and I ordered was delicious.
A little on the pricey side, BUT...don’t mind paying extra when I know it’s made right.
The cashier was super nice.

Cute little place to sit, terrible coffee. Okay, if you don't care that much about coffee it might be okay, but for true coffee lovers I'll elaborate. I ordered a cortado and my wife ordered a latte. Right away I noticed they use super automatics for pulling shots, so we are not off to a good start. The roast seemed to be good on both drinks, but it was really hard to tell due to the fact that both were under extracted, and the milk was burned. If I had to guess they also don't use treated water. Thankfully neither drink tasted like the coffee was oxidized, but that hardly made up for the aweful other problems. The latte was so bad you could barely even taste the coffee flavor. Almost as bad as hot watery milk. I was really hoping for a quality coffee in Topeka, but yet again I am disappointed in Americas inability to produce good quality coffee shops.

I went to PTs for the first time the other morning and I will definitely be back! The coffee was great and my croissant breakfast sandwich was amazing. The staff is so cheerful and friendly. It was a great way start my morning! My only complaint is that the drive thru speaker was hard to understand and sounded staticky.

The coffee here is really good. The best I've found in Topeka. Don't pay attention to all of those other reviews about the employees...I've been here plenty of times and the employees are perfectly friendly and are always helpful.

We were visiting from out of town and was on a time crunch, so I previously called Pts to make sure that they have heavy cream vrs half and half they said yes. I went in and ordered our drinks and was informed by Jaiden, that they were not allowed to steam our heavy cream, because it was “icky” 😂 I’m like you’re kidding right? This is a place Were you serve coffee and food it’s sometimes gets icky? Really? There are plenty of YouTube videos that will train the PTS employees on how to properly steam heavy cream without it being “icky”. That was a great disappointment!

Delicious coffee and helpful baristas! Worked with me yo find the best flavor of coffee for my amateur tastes. Nice and modern setup to lounge around. The drive thru feature would be very handy in the mornings.

Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately my coffee was luke warm (as well as my friend's) when they gave it to me. I asked the barista to please heat it up and he said he couldn't use the steamer since my coffee was already mixed and they didn't have a microwave. Weird because other coffee shops have heated drinks up for me in the past. Probably won't be back if all I can expect is a luke warm milk drink.

They try an make you tip through the drive through an if you don’t they take it anyway my receipt says 5.17 but my card was charged for 6.50 seems like theft 🤷🏽♂️
