A nice little coffee shop and a good break from the chains. It was crowded when I went so finding a seat was a challenge but that is a good sign of it's quality. The coffee was good, on par with the competition, but they had a very limited sugar free selection so I can't put them as high as Scooters. The staff was excellent and the coffee was ready quickly, just missing variety for that fifth star.

Always love Hattie's! Today we went and my son's latte had foam art and he was super impressed! 5.1 stars, he said!

This place is awesome!! The staff is very friendly and the espresso is delicious! I was feeling ill last time I went in and ordered a Doctor Spock which made me feel much better. Please support local coffee shops like this one!! They will give you much better product and service than Starbucks and Dunkin ever could.

This is a little hidden gem! I love new adventures and this one really paid off. Wanting to deal with local small businesses is what drove me to find this wonderful, clean shop. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the owner roasts the coffe himself. The steamed eggs were airy and light and I will be trying to work my way through the entire menu!!

Not only is Ali's Elixir super fire, but Ali herself was an absolute vibe! My fiancee and I have been meaning to come here for a while. Did not disappoint. Will be back. Great coffee too 🔥🔥🔥

Branched out and tried a new coffee shop this morning for a change of scenery. The barista that took our order got 3 out of 4 of the items incorrect and we had to have them adjusted. Once fixed, the coffee was decent in flavor.
We both ordered crossaint sandwiches. One had some minor adjustments that were disregarded. The crossaint was cold and the steamed egg was very bland. We ended up ditching after a bite or 2. We will stick with Parisi and Brew HaHa. Great food and service at both.

Great coffee and the service was really good. Very friendly and engaging. I appreciated the 2 sugar free coffee syrup options. I took a star off for the use of plastic cups with no recycling bin. In the summer there are lots of cold drinks, the trash was full of plastic cups. It seems a simple action to use recycleable cups and have a bin for recycling.

We went here for the first time last weekend because we were in the area. Great service, friendly people, excellent coffee and a wide variety of food options! We try to support locally owned businesses and would love it if Hattie's opened a location in south Overland Park. We would definitely support you. Hint, hint!
Hattie's - For a location in south Overland Park, I would recommend the 151st & Nall area or 159th & Metcalf area. I believe that you would have great support in south OP! There are plenty of chains close by, but no locally owned coffee shops. I would help with social media. Keep us updated.

I've been sampling different coffee shops around Overland Park and of all I've tried, Hattie's has the best tasting coffee. There is no coffee snobbery or pretentiousness about the place. The giant blackboard is a little hard to take in all at once, but shows they can make just about anything you ask to have. The staff is extremely kind and courteous. They smile and make an extremely fine cup of coffee.

Great vibe, friendly people. The small cappuccino/large cortado was exactly what I had hoped for, delicious and beautifully prepared.
