The treats were delicious. We just had ice cream and cake. There was a lady helping us by herself so it did take a while but there was 8 of us and she was working hard. There was a crowd of kids in the corner and they were disruptively and obnoxiously loud. Not that they were doing anything wrong and it's nice to see kids having fun, but they were extremely disruptive and I wish they just kept it down.

I wish I would have known their hours are"variable". A friend had told me how great the coffee and pastries were so I decided to forego my breakfast and swing by on my way to work. I work in a small town nearby. The hours posted on the door were Monday-Saturday opening at 7 A.M. I arrived around 7:35 A.M. Doors locked, no lights, and their doughnut order on the front step outside. I waited a few minutes to give the benefit of the doubt but to no avail. There are no other places on my route to work that offer food and beverage. Hungry and no coffee on a cool Friday morning.
*Response to response - I can definitely appreciate that. Maybe post the new hours on your website and door. I'd be willing to try again.

Quaint little farm town coffee spot. Was a little surprised how long it took to make two pretty basic coffees and the donuts are far from fresh. Probably would be a good idea to list the days they were baked because the ones we ordered were definitely dry and probably about 2-3 days old, stored in the open display. I would not likely buy baked goods from here again.
It's definitely a small town coffee shop where all the locals know one another. The baristas casually chatted with friends who came in after we placed our order which slowed it wayyyyy down. I know that's just how small towns work - I grew up in one - but we always learned to multi-task so as not to make other customers feel unimportant or unappreciated, especially when they made the point to stop and shop us instead of heading right for the big city down the road. And it's definitely great that they have a reputation built for themselves with other locals! That's the goal of every small town business I think. We were just left feeling really low priority as customers during the whole interaction.

Best sandwiches in the Ft Riley area hands down. Great portions for a good price. The service is phenomenal to top it off. A must try!

Make sure you visit this hidden gem in the town of Chapman, KS. The food is amazing and the staff is always inviting. The owners love giving back to the community and are great people.
