What a great group of people! I accidently landed at the Friedrichs Corp office and walked right into a company meeting! They were so gracious, kind, and understanding! Gave me a gift card and directions to their 22nd St location. When I showed up the staff was kind, gracious and welcoming! Great coffee and great people! Drive past the "other place" and find Friedrichs!!! Nice work guys, thank you!

I love this place. I have been going here for over 20 years. The Java Classic, Homefire Espresso, their specials every month.

Love the fact that all three of these stores have different specials. It lets me visit all three. We love the community of 42nd street, the homey feeling of 86th street, and the business structure of 22nd street.

I rate 86th street, followed by 42nd street and lastly 22nd street.

Fresh coffee, bright atmosphere, friendly staff. They were very chipper and went out of their way to make sure my order was correct.

Always love coming here as the drinks are better than major chains and you can get the largest size here for less than the cost of the smallest drink elsewhere. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the short wait for your crafted drink. I look forward to going back soon and consider Friedrichs Coffee a must stop for out of Towner. Truly a local gem!

Best place to get coffee every. The staff is super sweet and always Greet you with a smile. Great prices! Definitely recommend coming here... but beware it could become addicting.

Great local coffee company. Friendly service and a good selection off beans. Also, inside and outside seating for enjoying their products on site.

I usually love Friedrichs, but have recently been very disappointed with the drinks I’ve had from this location. I order what I always have, but for some reason this location has messed up a simple coffee drink several times. Service is really good, but I’m sorry to say that I won’t be going to this location anymore.

Best coffee in Des Moines, super friendly staff, always make a little small talk and make you feel welcome and iv never had a bad latte. They have a very nice smooth espresso that doesn't overpower the drinks. And the baked goods are always fresh and amazing

I'm not one to ever post reviews, bad or good. Ive been going to the coffee shop on 22nd st daily, for almost 2 years. I loved everyone there. Jen, Jess, Chris, Liv, and Darren are amazing and the only reason I keep coming back. today, I found out that the ENTIRE staff was fired (mind you, 3 of 5 are siblings that have worked there over a decade) due to poor management by the owner. I am absolutely shocked that I walk into a small business that I've dealt with for years, to find out that the manager doesn't care enough about personal relationships to keep this small business going. I know MANY daily customers are absolutely floored and upset by this. if any manager cares enough to read this, you guys have royally screwed up.
