Try the "Nutty Bird" sandwich- Yum!
They offer a terrific menu, with a variety of options to meet the desires of everyone. Their staff is very nice, & the overall atmosphere is really chill & relaxed with beautiful art pieces all around. It's a nice place to grab a quick lunch if you're on the go.

I haven't been here for quite a few years and used to be my favorite place. My sandwich was on dried out bread, one thin slice mushroom, one thin slice onion, one thin and transparent slice tomato and meat - everything at center with an inch of empty bread to the crust. Very strange my drink came out and all patrons around me served including my friend before I received my sandwich and soup but I wasn't last in line. Not motivated to go back - I make the sandwich better at home now and its very flavorful and pretty to serve just like it used to be on Pierce Street.

Delicious food served fresh with lots of variety to choose from. Funky fun atmosphere that always feels inviting.

I absolutely love Coffee Works. They've carved a niche in Sioux City. They offer great soups and sandwiches. The atmosphere is quaint and warm. Oh, and let's not forget the coffee.... Their house is my favorite. Guatemalan Peace Coffee. Shade grown, fair trade, and always freshly brewed. Just like all great local places, you'll end up getting cravings for the food.

My friends and I usually really enjoy this place. Good coffee, good baked goods and a fun atmosphere. However, this morning, one of the employees was pretty rude. She made one of our coffees wrong and rolled her eyes when we said something about it. The thing about the service industry, is that it's all about the service. There's lots of coffee shops in town

Excellent coffee and sandwich joint. Hip bohemian vibe. Sandwiches are awesome. Many different options to create your own killer combination or you can pick one of their specialty sandwiches. Really nice place.

I travel the country with my wife and this has by far been at the top of our favorite coffee shops. The girls in there are very polite and friendly and this place actually makes excellent bulletproof coffee and there's gluten free sandwich options. My favorite sandwich is their "Manhatten". I look forward to coming back soon!

I enjoyed the coffee shop with my father in law while passing through to minnesota. The only downfall was that the chocolate chip cookie wasn't very tasty. My father in law had a chocolate scone that he enjoyed. The coffee however, was on point and i really enjoyed the creative names they had for their specialty coffees. If you are looking to get away from Starbucks or scooters I suggest giving this place a try!

Worked here for quite a few years, and it was one of the best jobs and experienced I've had the privilege of doing. The food is great and fresh made with a healthier conscience in mind. The coffee and espresso are roasted in town and are some of the best The area has to offer. The employees are trained on how to use the machines and how coffee is supposed to be really made. The fact it's been alive and well for 20 some odd years, I believe, is a testament to it's much talked about excellence, especially in a town where things go away just as quickly as they go up. It's got a mystique about it as well, when you walk in you absolutely feel like you've been transported to a different part of the world, seeing as a lot of the decorations, art, and photographs on the walls are from the owners own personal travels and experiences. There's alot of character in this place, and there's much more to be had. One thing I think really sets this place apart is the owner himself is on the front lines almost every single day and is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He never hesitates to stop and answer a questions or just have a good talk with anyone. People like him are why things like this survive.
