Simple delicious donuts. quaint atmosphere with a twist of home. If you're looking for a place to go relax and enjoy a cup of coffee this is the place. The help is friendly, they have free wifi, and couches to relax on while you wind up or wind down your day. I love the J bar, it's cornflakes with peanutbutter and gooey sauce all over them. Give it a try.

I have been to Jitters 2 times - the 2nd time was to give a second chance. I tend to give benefit of the doubt and error in people having an ‘off day’ or what not. On both visits I was surprised employees were not wearing masks. They handled food, drinks, cash and cards. Both times there was the same guy making donuts out front wearing a ball cap backwards with his hair sticking out out from under it as well has a beard of sorts. He was not wearing a hair net. I am not the health department nor do I claim to know health codes or regulations. I prefer to spend my money and give my business to a place that follows health/hygiene guidelines (hairnets)and takes precautions for the safety and well being of their customers.

I grew up on the north side of Sioux City in the 80s when Sunshine was still a store and had a cafe in the front of it. My mom would take us after church and we would get a six pack of doughnuts on the styrofoam tray. So needless to say it's been a while since I have a Sunshine doughnut and this place delivered. Just like I remember them. Good job! I will be back whenever I am in town.

While my family loves these doughnuts, definitely the best in town, I need to share my experience and disappointment. Took my daughters there today to get couple doughnuts each and we had to wait 30 mins. They obviously didn't make enough doughnuts or maybe they make them to order I don't know but that's basically what they were doing making them as the orders came in. Worse part is that there were people walking in and picking up 1 to 2 dozen doughnuts because apparently they called in there orders 🤔 while my girls stood there waiting and waiting. Come to find out they were filling call in orders before theirs. I was told they were filling them in the order they came and they were telling them there's a 45 min wait.. 🤬 ok but why would you make the people sitting in your restaurant wait 45 mins that's just ridiculously stupid. Makes no sense what so ever Jitters management you seriously need to fix that simple problem.

Love the donuts 🍩... they claim they taste just like Sunshine’s donuts but I don’t agree... they are similar but not exactly the same... don’t get me wrong they are great tasting and don’t leave that greasy after taste that some cake donuts leave... I definitely think you will love them if you try them and since Sunshine donut counters no longer exist this will cure the cravings for one!

This was my first time ordering anything from this place (though I have had their donuts at work functions) but after hearing such good reviews about the coffee and doughnuts, I decided to give their lunch menu a try. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The Ravin' Reuben is nothing to rave about. No flavor to it at all. Cheap corned beef and bland sauerkraut, which if you are the type of person who likes Reubens, you know the sauerkraut needs to pack a punch. The Thousand Island dressing was also very watered down and had pretty much all leaked out of the wrap, creating a soggy mess. I had ordered a 'meal' with chips added for $1.00 extra and didn't notice until I got back to my workplace that I wasn't given any chips. When they took my order they told me to have a seat and they would bring out my food, and since nobody asked what type of chips I wanted I just assumed they would be plain potato chips or something. But the time it would take me to drive back there, show my receipt, and get the dang chips is worth more to me than the trouble of doing so. I'm sure this place has great coffee and doughnuts, but I'll skip their lunch service next time.

It had a very interesting vibe. The furnishings were very mismatched but in a good way. I only got an Irish Cream flavored latte but it was very average coffee.
