Wow! This tiny lil diamond in rough is absolutely amazing! Best med rare steak ever! I can't say enough about how well this steak was cooked...literally to perfection! Staff was pleasant and took great care to prepare our meals sep (shellfish allergy) place was clean! Definitely will be back! I'd give 100 stars if i could!

This is a great mom and pop place! Stopped in on Sunday lunch while traveling through area. Looked busy from outside, but still had space when we walked in. Food and staff were great. The ice cream dessert with the Sunday buffet was a delicious ending!

Delightful place to eat. Food served hot - was good and plenty of French fries. Cafe was clean and inviting, people were friendly.

Eaten there most every time I meet my friend from kindergarten to chat. They have tasty home cooked meals, good variety and many people eat there often. Not at all fancy, but great food at a reasonable price in short order.

Good food. Service wasn't the greatest especially for how few people were in there, but it could've been much worse.

I used to drive between Sioux City and Cedar Rapids/Iowa City a lot back when highway 20 came right by this place and I always made it a point to stop here for breakfast. The service is fast and accommodating and the food is pretty great as well - tastes like it was made right there in grandma's kitchen! It's super easy on the wallet as well. When you eat breakfast at a small town diner like this one you wonder why you ever eat at the fast food chains.

Food took forever to get (it was not busy either), food did not come out together. Hashbrowns weren't cooked, ask for eggs over-easy, they were well over cooked. Husband asked for ham and cheese omelet, it was covered in sliced cheese and undercooked. Highchair was covered in crusty food from meals before. Just another poor experience at this place.

Terrible experience our last visit. Only getting a star because I have to put one and the food was tolerable. Service was bad, staff was inattentive... we sat near the register there were 3-4 girls in the back chatting and took over 20 minutes just to take our order. Mind you they were NOT busy. It was 2:00pm. Rude waitress even spilled syrup in my water and grudgingly got me a fresh one. We will not be going back.

Food was great and very reasonable and our waitress was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and Food came out speedy fast.

Call them to find out if they had stakes they said yes prime rib for tonight they called me back and said they had no prime rib so I went anyway was going to order chicken they told me the kitchen was closed I will never return to this business ever again
