Been driving 40 miles from Omaha Ne to Red Oak Ia 2-3 times a month for last few months. Poor to outright bad service normally. Sometimes ok. Last 3 times really bad. Today the worst. People around us were leaving because food wasn't being served. Others were getting orders taken and served before people who had been waiting 30-45 minutes. We waited 20 minutes to get coffee. Had to flag down waitress after 30 minutes to order. Finally got disgusted. Told waitress but she was unapologetic. Sadly our last time there until they get their act together

Very disappointed in my breakfast this morning. It was supposed to be my breakfast for my birthday eggs or cold hash browns tasted Rancid. We had a good server it was not her fault don't know who the cook was but not pleased with the outcome which is unusual because it's always been a good breakfast

Service was slow due to a new cook, but owner discounted the charges and we were thankful for the price reduction.

We went here for brunch on a Saturday. Serves breakfast all day. Full bar all day. The banana bread French toast which was a special that day was amazing. The waitress forgot one of two drinks and the one she did remember was a spicy bloody Mary when we asked for not spicy. This could have been the waitress' or the bartender's fault, who knows. The food was good though and it had a small town feel (we were visiting for a wedding). Definitely a better breakfast than McDonald's which was what the groom recommended. If we were ever back in Red Oak, we'd definitely eat here again.
