Things I love; Their sugar-free Chai, the salsa that came with my panini, the atmosphere.
Things I didn't love: No clear direction as to how things work for a first time visitor. The prices of t-shirts and other merchandise. (I still bought two shirts but at $29 a piece that is a bit steep)...and the cashier not being very friendly. Not that she was outright rude but I had to keep repeating my order. It wasn't busy or too loud so I'm not sure what the issue was there. She had long nails and it seemed to cause her issues with imputing the order. She did thank me at the end but she just generally seemed very dismissive overall. I believe people can just have a bad day though. I will visit again eventually and give it another try.

Coffee was fantastic, food was okay. The Cafe Borgia was incredible! However, the cheeseburger chowder was bland and the tiramisu was a little soggy.

Smokey Row Coffee is a favorite places to visit whenever in Pella. Delicious food. Friendly service. Great selection.

The staff are nice had coffee within breakfast casserole it was delicious wanted hot sauce but they don’t carry that condiment, put some black pepper it was delicious if you must have hot sauce on your eggs order something else like biscuits and gravy unless you want hot sauce with that too!
Update wanted something new asked for their best cup of tea, Kimber recommended I talk to Jasper he suggested the Açaí green tea with honey, it’s now my favorite tea drink

We went here for lunch the weekend of June 18th. My bagel and milkshake were great. I did buy some coffee beans too. Just wish they had a better selection of decaffeinated. Overall a really good place. Good price for what you get.

The barista was excellent, very helpful and prompt with the drinks, but the kitchen staff were very slow. I spent at least 45m waiting for food on my lunch break. They're somewhat busy today, and this is not a fast food location, so if you're on time constraints for your lunch I don't suggest this location. Food was good, just make sure you grab your own utensils and napkins before you go.
Pretty sure the guy before me had his order wrong too because he checked his boxes then waited at the front desk for about 10m to get it fixed before he just shrugged and left without being helped after his food was given to him in 3 different bags.

If you want to order meals from here, expect to be waiting over 30 minutes. I was there recently with friends and changed our orders to, to go because it had already been 40 minutes and we had to be somewhere. Staff was messing around and didn't seem to care all that much. The girl in the kitchen forgot one of our sandwiches. When she brought it out it didn't come with the same condiments as the others. Didn't even apologize. It's no wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night.
At least getting drinks from the front has been quick and consistent.

Delicious food and coffee. Knowledgeable staff. Awesome atmosphere. They have whole bean bags of coffee you can buy as well as ground. Will definitely visit again. I had the Rise & Shine Sandwich.

A wonderful local coffee shop in Pella, IA! They have great pastries (try a Dutch Letter!) and lattes! Great service.
