Nice chill coffee shop with quality drinks. There’s plenty of room to spread out get work done or have a nice conversation. The seasonal white chocolate lavender latte was fantastic!

The lattes and iced coffee are really good. Nearly perfect. The atmosphere is very modern and open. A lot of seating. Staff are very pleasant. They do have wifi.

Hub coffee never disappoints!! I’ve been there a number of times and always look forward to going back! Drinks are amazing, and sandwiches are so so good. Very roomy and quiet, a great place to catch up with a friend with all the nooks to sit. A coffee shop I’d expect to see in a bigger city, and I’m proud it’s in Ottumwa!

Ever driven by, and wondered what was inside the hub? Go in! There is a cozy little coffee bar, with seating (following all covid 19 protocol) the crew is super nice, and always remember my order. If you love food made from scratch, this is the place to pick up a super yummy sandwich. Comfort food is the category I would put this food in to. A definite must for the coffee lover!

If you are looking for a coffee shop to call home in southeast Iowa, Hub Coffee is where it's at. Their focus is on serving quality coffee, drinks, and food. Most of their syrups are made in-house, their roaster is Messenger Coffee of Kansas City, their pastries are from the local Main Street Donuts, and their sandwiches are made with homemade bread that is made in the shop. They are also community focused with all of their profits going to a local fund that supports the local community in various ways. Their building was the old YWCA and has been restored beautifully--even on a busy day, there are plenty of places to sit with a variety of different settings (tables, booths, corner nooks, etc.). There is even a basketball gym with foam mats and blocks for kids to play on!! This is the kind of shop one would expect to find in Kansas City or Des Moines--and yet it's here in southeast Iowa, in little ol' Ottumwa.

Fantastic space in downtown Ottumwa to enjoy coffee, tea, or light meal. The variety of seating spaces are ideal for everything from focused, independent work to informal group conversations.
