Always a great visit! It is always clean, and the staff is friendly. I love that you can grab a quick latte or coffee before work. Also they have a ton of flavors to choose from, so that's kinda fun! Would definitely recommend them.
I gave it 3 stars but that's only because you cant give partial ratings. The atmosphere is clean but lacks character and charm. There is no warmth in the decor...no coziness you would expect...just simple and bland. The service was fine, however I left wishing for more of an "experience" like other good coffee shops, especially paying $5 for a 16 ounce cup of flavored coffee. Not much for friendly banter as expected. Suggestion: Know your products better and get rid of the plastic jug of milk you're using. Pour it up ahead of time into a more presentable dispenser! They really need to work on presentation at all levels. It was "okay", but I dont think I'll be a regular there by any means. There are other options...in fact I can get as pleasing an experience by refilling my own cup at the 4way down the block...and only using the change in my pocket.
Guy at the bar was super nice and patient. Lots of options, like a crazy amount of options. Got a smoothie and frappe, both were excellent. Also had a muffin, which was possibly the best choice yet. Definitely a must.
The coffee is great but they dont honor what they say. I was given a punch card the 1st time i went into their new shop by the owner and the next time I went in the older lady didn't want to honor it and said it wasn't the right card for her business because it didnt look familiar to her even though it had all of the business's info on it and after the other worker told her to honor it because it was their newer style of cards she punched it and threw it on counter when my hand was out to grab it from her. She is very rude. Not sure if I'll go back 😞
Cousin Lee & I spent part of the morning @ Movillatte...right on Main St. in downtown Moville. I had 2 huge mugs of really flavorful black tea ($2 each) and she had something frothy in an equally huge mug… (I don’t drink coffee, so I didn’t pay attention). Lee, who lives in Santa Fe, says the menu board is amazingly diverse, and that her cuppa coffee is as good as (or even better than) anything she has found in any of her travels. The seating area includes several overstuffed chairs, a couple of sofas, a couple of sofa tables, a couple of ice cream-type tables, and lots of chairs. It’s all beautifully decorated and extraordinarily comfortable. The highly polished hardwood floors seem to be original to the building, and everything is very clean, from the granite countertops to the glass display case of muffins, donuts, and cinnamon rolls to the newly-painted walls. Open daily @ 6am (except Sun.), closed midday and then open 4-6:30, it’s a great stop for sodas, fruit smoothies, snowcones, flavorful teas, and a myriad of fancy coffee with my besties. ;-) It’s a wonderful family business, and a great addition to town.
Had it today, I've added it to one of my small town favorites! The service was great as well coffee too! I will be stopping for more coffee ☕ -- when driving through again.
