This is in a Teensy town so I was VERY surprised they could accommodate my Gluten intolerance. I had Tomato Basil soup and crust less quiche. It was delicious, filling and satisfying. AND... I didn't get sick thank you very much!! Has a lot of character. Open seating kind of dark bit cozy. Clean.

Eating here is a highlight of my week. I have gone to this coffee shop consistently for four years now and I can honestly say that everything on the menu is delicious. The New York style grilled cheese with the tomato bisque is my personal favorite, yum! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice environment to eat and relax.

Passing through on i35. Needed a good coffee. This is a nice quaint small town shop, just what I was looking for.
However, only 1 shot in a standard 16oz latte, normally its 2-3. (But it was priced only at $3.50 I think)
After I left, I realized I didnt request 2% or whole milk, and they didn't ask me.
So I think the default may be 1%.
Imo, life is too short for a skim or 1% latte.
Nice friendly service tho.

The white zombie is fantastic. Cute little shop with wooden floors, tables, and chairs. There wasn't anyone in here when I first walked in but I've seen multiple people come in while sitting here eating my delicious quiche. Deffinetly will be stopping back the next time I'm in the area.

Quality food; lively atmosphere. It was a great break in our roadtrip. They handled our large group quickly, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Well worth the detour from I-35.

Very friendly with great coffee. We had a bit of a special request and they accommodated us. Cute shop with republic of tea for sale along with other specialty teas. Would definitely detour off of I-35 again to visit. Thanks for the great coffee!

Found this restaurant online traveling back from Kansas City to Minnesota and decided to give it a try. Excellent food. Food was fresh and decent price, cute small town atmosphere. Worth the few mile drive off of 35. Give it a try!

Delicious food, drinks, and lots of variety! Their smoothies are famous in the area and lots of food items are made from scratch. The White Zombie smoothie is the most popular. My favorite meal is the grilled hummus red pepper panini and the tomato soup. Great coffee bar too. Serves lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, americanos, and anything in between!! Only a few miles off the interstate too.

Great coffee shop with awesome lunch and breakfast food as well. Best place to stop if you have to meet someone halfway between Des Moines and Kansas City. :)
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and all-around great experience.
