I wanted to love this place so much. It's a great space - the decor is fantastic. The food was really delicious. But, the customer service absolutely terrible. One register is being used for online orders, I assume. That's fine. But, instead of kindly letting us know that we needed to order at the other register, the employee just rudly gestured to the other register without a word, leaving us to stand waiting in front of that register until the other employee was done looking at his cell phone and could take our order. The food was worth the wait, but it was a long wait. I would recommend based on location and food alone, but customer service really needs some work.
Great cold brew and a cool place, great to hang and study! Two things missing / easy recommendations and fixes.
First, there is a ton of space up front, should have a ton of snacks for sale like Starbucks and Java do. (Popcorn, Chips, Jerky, Bars...etc), will also act as snack shop for the hotel. AND, students like me who study here will probably buy a snack with my drink, outside of the menu items.
Second, there are only three types of tea, all pretty plain, get some better flavors!! Shouldn't be too hard to keep a few more flavors in stock, mint, passion fruit...etc, not just green and black. And, $4 for a tea is a bit much... another note, carry stevia sweetener, it's 2018!
Seems like some easy and low risk / high reward fixes to me that will bring in more customers / increase sales, as well as make more customers like me happy. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some of these changes.
Coffee was not good at all. I got an ice coffee and water was added to it to avoid making more. Threw it away immediately unfortunately. Great atmosphere. Barista was a bit standoffish.
Seemed like a good place to hangout and study or have coffee for an hour or two. The coffee drinks were pretty good, but the food was really not. The breakfast sandwiches are flavorless and mushy and way over priced.
Great place to meet friends, enjoy some excellent coffee creations, and stare at pencils. Music is sometimes too loud, but otherwise, it's a great alternative to Starbucks and has lots of open study space (unlike Java House).
Super cool place with an awesome vibe, very cozy and clean. Unfortunately the WiFi connection is beyond useless. Wouldn’t be a bad spot to hang out with some friends for coffee, but if you’re looking to work or study this is a poor choice.
Bacon egg and cheese: bun is badly burned and scrambled egg is runny. Veggie wrap: tortilla is soggy from condensation in it's container. Apple slaw is very heavy on the mayo. Is it just mayo, cabbage and apples? 🤢 The hotel rooms are not any better. The place looks cool but under the hood... yeet.
Highly gentrified, overpriced coffee spot that plays music way too loud. Couldn't even hear the person I was with from across the table. Went to the cashier and it took him about 30 seconds of looking at his phone to realize I was standing there only for him to tell me that they didn't have control over the volume of music, which I find hard to be true.
