Crêpes de Luxe Cafe

Lovely creperie with tasty savory and sweet crepes. Cute decor inside and prices are quite affordable. I enjoyed the L’ocean my savory crepe. Family owned business with very kind owner.

food is excellent, but it is a very small place and they can never seat everyone. i came in alone and there was a group behind me, they made me wait for a table so the group could sit down, even though i was there first. they always make me feel like they don’t want my business.

Stopped for lunch. Crepes were delicious, artfully presented and surprisingly filling. French Press coffee and homemade lemonade were also excellent.

This place needs to either open earlier or relocate so a space with more tables because I want to go every single day! I got there five minutes after 11 and was lucky to get the last open table, the food and lattes are amazing, the service is great!
I moved here from Austin, TX where I had a favorite French pâtisserie, and now I have found one here, I'm elated.
I love the Moroccan decor too!

The staff here is great. They are very friendly and helpful. They get 5 stars on their own.

On our visit, my husband and I both ordered sweet crepes. One of which was pretty good and the other was just okay. It's not a place I will write off trying again (especially to try the savory crepes), but I also won't consider it a must eat place in Iowa City.

Crepes de Luxe is fabulous. The food is as beautiful as it is delicious. Have eaten here dozens of times. Makes my short list of favorite places to eat in IC along with Oasis, NoDo, Her Soup Kitchen, Sanctuary, La Regia.

I have been coming here for years. Since the pandemic, I did not go out as much. Now that things are slowly returning back to normal. I stopped in for a crepe and coffee. It is as delicious as it was when I first came here. So many places have dropped in quality, but not here. They are family ran and feels like you walked into a personal French cafe. 10/10 recommend stopping in.

Always delightful! Great selection of crepes and several omelets. Lovely presentation. Great tea and coffee, too. The tea is served in a lovely silver tea set on a tray.

A very nice place to have coffee or a quick bite in. Cozy and friendly. I love it.
Sometimes, they offer special home-cooked cakes and cookies (Western/Moroccan). They are delicious 😋
