Their specialty breads are phenomenal. They have rotating options and their standard ones to choose from. Just don't come too late in the afternoon, or your choices will start to be limited. Their breads are made fresh daily.

I love all of the breads I've gotten here, but the cinnamon chip and baked potato bread are my personal favorites! The cinnamon chip makes outstanding French toast! All of their breads are so fresh and delicious. I loved when it's still warm!

Absolutely love Great Harvest Bread Co.! The scones and breads are amazing, and I always love that I can have a sample of what's new. It definitely makes me more likely to purchase something different. Also, since we are entering the colder season, if you haven't tried their soups yet, it is a must! Wonderful service, so friendly and considerate! I don't even care about Covid sanitation procedures, but they really went above and beyond to keep things clean and safe. And, as always, amazing baked goods and coffee! I had a raspberry rhubarb cream cheese scone the size of my face (so good, so filling!) and my daughter had a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. She has a severe nut allergy, too, but one of the employees explained to me that they are careful to keep things baked with nuts separate, and they happened to not have any baked goods with nuts out today anyway. ☺️ We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The Dakota bread is probably my favorite item, especially paired with their garlic butter! If you haven't been yet, it is a must in Cedar Rapids.

I just visited GHBC to pick up lunch for my guy and myself. *They offer your choice of a sample of bread while you wait* I selected garlic cheddar, and I'm fairly certain it's similar to what God sent the Israelites when they were wandering the desert. How the heck did they get flavorful chunks of cheese in there, amidst pillowy bread? I'm not going to try to recreate it, I'll just go there to purchase it.
I had the Yardbird salad and I loved it, especially the spiced, candied seeds. My fella had the Louisville chicken salad and liked it very much. Also, both employees I encountered were so friendly.

I've never had a bad sandwich here! Great bread and breakfast pastries.
