The Beancounter Coffeehouse & Drinkery

This has been a favorite spot of ours until this past Saturday. We walked in and no one greeted us. The redhead with glasses who took our order was extremely unpleasant. She talked to my husband like he was stupid when he asked about the desserts. She sighed heavily when I asked a question about a menu item. We almost walked out. They were not busy and it took over 30 minutes to get our food.

Nice little coffee shop. Friendly people, good coffee, good food, they have really comfy seating in three different areas plus a patio outside. They even have adult beverages available which is kind of nice for the evening. WiFi is strong and reliable. Next time I'm in downtown Burlington and need a place to hang out, this will be it.

I have recently moved to the neighborhood so this was my first time visiting “the beancounter”. The staff was very friendly and happy to make the drinks just the way we wanted. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good coffee and comfortable friendly place to chill.

I love the Beancounter! Their staff is always sweet and friendly. They have lovely gifts and treats for sale for humans, and dogs too! 20% of sales goes to help dogs in need. They offer indoor and outdoor seating too!

The ambiance here is the best I've encountered in a local cafe. Friendly, cozy (without being claustrophobic) and plenty of seating. Wall outlets in convenient spots just about everywhere! I can't vouch for the coffee, but the house smoothies are delicious and the bakery items are consistently good. This is my favorite place to camp for a morning writing session.

This place is a jewel! Our drinks were made quickly & tasted so good. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable, and the store was so neat! Next time I go, I'm going hungry to either try the baked goods, or to try a sandwich or wrap.

Great coffee selections and snacks, plus a nice menu for a light lunch. Loved the eclectic decor of refinished table and chair sets. Comfortable and charming and well arranged, with main level waiting and ordering, and duel level seating at the back.

Me and my sister, came from Oregon to visit my brother in Burlington. I did a google search for coffee, and decided to check out Beancounter Coffeehouse. We were so glad we did. What wonderful baked goods, coffee and the owner and the employees that work there are Great. Going to miss this charming place when leaving for home.
