I bought a box of different baked goods which turned out to be a little pricey. $75.00 wow!!. Anyway, they were okay just cold since they were all refrigerated or kept cold there. Asked for just one tuna melt & she gave me two, maybe that's why everything came to be $75.00 idk but they were good just cold. The only thing I didn't care for was the blueberry breakfast bar which I ate in my car & that was ice cold too so maybe that's why I didn't care for it. Probably would have tasted better if it were warm. The brownie & gingerbread cake was a tad dry & the vanilla latte wasn't that sweet either but it's okay I just ended up going to Starbucks for one & threw the other one out, really just wished she would have donuts there, more bread varieties, cinnamon rolls not the croissant ones, but regular cinnamon rolls, more cake slices or squares, pies, & more tart varieties like pudding tarts & custard filled cream puffs but other than that it's okay. Still searching for the perfect bakery though, but I think most of the customers who really love this place are the ones who live close by or walking distance.

What a wonderful discovery!!! There were 4 of us ordering a variety of past ries and we all loved everything we bought. Stand out - the olive oil cake and the macarons. And going back for the those, plus the chocolate croissants. Definitely going back to try more!

Stopped by just to see what kind of pastries they had and OMG! I got some macaroons, a pb triangle, and a key lime little pie. They were so good!

If I could give Small Town Pastry a ZERO STAR review I would. I don’t know if there is anything more disappointing that talking about a cake and receiving something completely different. My sister had a baby shower in which we prepaid for a cake and macaroons. She gave one of her invitations for color matching. We were supposed to get a cake with macaroons and flowers on it. What we received was a joke...not only did the colors not match the invitations at all but the quality was TERRIBLE. The flowers were half one color half another (not in a good way) because the pastry bag was never switched out. All of the flowers were smooshed ( they looked like messy blobs) and honestly looked like a five year old made them. My poor mother stayed up all night re-doing the the cake. Oh and the Macaroons... the macaroons were not able to be used because they were Barney Pink and Purple... We thought there was a mistake and that the wrong macaroons had been sent so we called the store the next day and were greeted with an offensive tone by the manager. He never apologized and instead wanted us to drop the cookies back off so that they could do what with them? Re-sell them? We asked for money back and he told us that he gave us a deal. When we mentioned we pre-paid he had nothing else to say. We were told we would hear back and never did. I wouldn’t trust these people to make a cake for my dog. BEWARE OF SMALL TOWN BAKERY!!!

First time visitor. New business in a new location. Hard to find but worth the effort. Owner operated. Pleasant atmosphere. Great pastry selection. We ordered olive oil cake and eclairs. Both were exceptional. We’ll definitely be regular customers.

They did a great job designing my husband's birthday cake the way I wanted and thats the only reason I am giving them any stars.
First, the cake was supposed to be ready by 10 am. My sister goes to pick it up at 10:30 am and they said it's not done and will be another 30 mins. How hard would it have been to make a phone call? They blamed it on someone calling off. I wouldn't have been mad had you just called and my sister was late picking it up.
Secondly, the Lemon Cake was not good. The flavoring was not well portrayed and the "eatable" handle on the cake that was made of rice Krispie treats tasted stale and disgusting.
For a cake that I was charged $55 for I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from here again!

Small Town Pastry is a great addition to Bettendorf and the Quad Cities. It is located right on the Bettendorf Middle Road Bike Path. During warm weather there are tables and umbrellas outside. Plenty of seating inside too - once we can be inside again. The treats are awesome! My favorites are the Olive Cakes and the Almond Croissants. They even have lunch - sandwiches and soup! Oh - and the coffee is great too. I go out of my way to ride by there or do errands by there so I can stop for a quick treat!

I'm looking on Google to see if I can give six stars but they won't let me so I guess I have to give it five. The Quad Cities has needed a bakery like this for some time now, I've been there every day since I've discovered it. Everything is extremely fresh. The first day I called to get their hours and I asked them if they had any eclairs left and the owner said no, they were out of them, but she said that she would make them for me. On my arrival 2 hours later, I had fresh delicious eclairs. I've tried several of their treats and I have not been disappointed with any of them. I guess I don't need to go to Paris now for French pastries because I have them right here in my own backyard. I highly recommend this bakery, you won't be disappointed but you might need to go to the gym a little more often because they're quite addictive!

Love the espresso! The store is so cute and the outside patio is a great place to stop after my walk!!

Heard about this place in an article on a local news site. I've been looking for a replacement for Carousel of Delights (French bakery) since they closed down in May, so I went Saturday to check them out with my husband. The Eclair was delicious, as was the millionaire bar. Unfortunately, they had run out of quiche by the time we stopped in but, after being pleased with the first visit, I will definitely be going back in the hope of getting there early enough next time
