Very nice place and GENEROUS helpings of gelato. People were very nice. I ordered the caramel apple gelato and was enjoying it but then there was a curious bite to the caramel? Almost as if the caramel was cooked a wee bit too long/scorched and there was a bitter aftertaste. It didn't stop me from eating it all though! 🤷

If you think covid-19 is not a threat, this is the place for you! One of the people behind the counters had an open mesh mask under her nose. At their 6 foot wide ice cream display case, where your can look at the flavors, they encourage multiple parties to come close and choose at the same time! No limit on the number of people!! Let's not forget when they brought someone who was checking out, without a mask right next to people who were trying to pick ice cream flavors with masks, and ahead of other people who had been waiting for a while.

You can also choose to sit there and eat, no social distancing required. European snacks with the best american liberties.

Love the chocolates and the gelato here. The interior is absolutely beautiful! And the owner is so nice, he always comes over and talks to us. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Ames!

Gelato is absolutely delicious, I love the Pink Grapefruit, very tart. Their Chocolate and sea salt caramels are amazing. On the weekends sometimes their is a pianist. Great place to grab a coffee or a gelato with a friend.

Very niche and very cute their dark chocolate is amazing—I don’t even like dark chocolate 😂. There’s couches and tables and games you can play with friends

Purchased one of their assembled Valentine's Day boxes for the second year in a row earlier this week. Very excited to give as a gift! Best chocolate I've ever had! Will try to add a photo if I get a chance!

This is one of my favorite places in Ames. The chocolate is great, the gelato is great, the hot chocolate I get in the winter is great, the live piano performances are great, the decor is great. I honestly only have good things to say about my numerous experiences here.

Amazing! Gelato & chocolate were both way above my expectation. The owner was exceptionally friendly & very helpful in recommending things for us once he found out we were from out of town. I highly recommend this place!
