Great service, great coffee and good breakfast. Best black coffee in Ames by far. Staff is always friendly and patient. Drive through is fast and orderly. My one problem is the interior, it could use some more decorations and more seating. Indoor seating is limited, but you should be fine as long as you aren't there between 10 and 11.

I ordered a hot latte and was handed an iced latte. When I asked for it hot the barista (Kalyn) told me they heard me say iced and they were too busy to remake it. TERRIBLE customer service and I won’t be going back.

I love Burgie’s is my go to place weekly! My favorite spot to have a morning date with my husband!

A $7.50 milkshake seems indulgent and I wouldn't quite go so far as to say it was worth 750 pennies but it was delicious. Based on the other one star review about the finger and the ice cream, I didn't see that happen during my milkshake prep but I also wasn't paying attention because I wouldn't care to be honest. Cute place, a bit more upbeat minimal decor than some other places that feel to cold by intention.

I stopped for a milkshake and was recommended a matcha lavender one. So good!!!!! Plus their iced jasmine pearl tea was perfectly brewed.

Really good food and love the space inside. The coffee was just ok. I don't know if I will be back to this location because the lady making the coffee gave me attitude for asking which coffee was mine. I just wanted to make sure I was grabbing the right one, but instead I got attitude back. Not all the staff is rude because the lady at the register and the guy who brought our food was very nice.

A little shy on atmosphere, but the coffee is great! The employees are polite, friendly, and on point. Convenient location. Prices are in-line with other coffee shops in Ames. It is always very clean - a huge plus with me.

Biscuit breakfast sandwich was great and caramel latte was one of the best I've had.

First time dining here and we were not impressed. The coffee was overpriced and unremarkable. I had a cappuccino and my friend had a black coffee. Paid almost $8 and they both tasted like airport kiosk coffee.
Lack of seating is the worst problem this place has. The outdoor patio is on the east side of the building, so sitting there is uncomfortable most of the morning and day. And while there were several patio tables, only one had an umbrella to block the sun.
Many patio patrons wanted to sit inside, but each indoor table was occupied by one person working on a computer for a couple hours. The large table in the back that seats 6-8 had one guy sitting there with his laptop.
When I brought these issues to the barista’s attention, she offered no solutions.

I recently got a gift card to Burgies so I've been inclined to taste more things other than my favorite Jamocha shake or dirty chai with no water. Other than realizing this place is expensive again is that the 20oz lean green smoothie wasn't all too great and doesn't really look like it's 20oz... Could've went to tropical smoothie for cheaper and got something with protein in it as well. Not trying to dis Burgies too much, coffee is great, food is great, environment is great whenever I go inside either north or south but prices seem a bit high where some drinks are lacking... might be inflation as well.
