Great coffee and food, close to campus and good for studying or meeting in a small group! Same fantastic people that own Fuel in downtown Lafayette. Parking can be a challenge, but it's well worth the minor inconvenience. The Fuel Jack is amazing, and the breakfast burrito will change your life! I really haven't had anything yet at either of their locations that wasn't amazing.
Nice looking space, but the coffee beans are godawful. If you enjoy Starbucks and you don't think that Starbucks over roasts their beans, then you'll like the Hummingbird coffee Fuel sells. If you can't drink a cup of Starbucks coffee because you know it's bound to taste like used charcoal, then stay well away from both Fuel and Hummingbird roasters. Even the allegedly "light roasted" Yirgacheffe beans I bought there were as dark and oily looking as anything Starbucks sells.
Best coffee close to engineering campus. Exponentially better than Starbucks or McDonald's, but not the best coffee in West Lafayette. Crowd tends to be more professors and older people than a student crowd, but there's a good mix of both.
My wife and I used to go to Greyhouse all the time, but they are usually crazy busy and you can never find a place to sit. So we tried out Fuel and loved it! Our lattes were good and hot, and there was plenty of places to sit. Will definitely come back!
A little expensive but great new coffee shop on campus. Busy during lunch hour, but rather relaxed otherwise. Lots of seating options. The menu has a variety of vegetarian options.
Good drink and food. Friendly employees. Nice atmosphere. Kind of pricey but I figure you are also paying for a place to sit down and do work so that's how I justify it.
This is the best espresso in West Lafayette hands down, rich flavor not watered down at all, shows the quality of the brewing method and quality of the beans.
On 8/23 9am-11am, me and my frd paid $20 for 2 coffees and 1 breakfast and stayed for 2 hrs only with a few homemade cookies due to personal dietary constraint. But a waitress came and saying that outside food is not allowed which I believe is acceptable in most coffee shops in town(Starbucks/grey house). Furthermore, there is NO CLEAR SIGN suggesting that rule anywhere. We decide not to come back again. thanks.

Best cafe around in my opinion! The coffee is perfect. Reminds me a lot of Seattle. It's always a pleasure to go in and chat with the baristas too
