We’ve been here a few times when visiting family in Portage and it’s COMPLETELY worth the drive. It’s obvious these folks know their stuff from the roasters to the café. We’ve had delicious pour overs as well as bags off coffee for home.

Off the beaten path, but worth the extra few minutes. Knowledgeable staff. They had 4 single origin roasts and a blend on pourover with a v60 in addition to the usual selection of espresso drinks. Really neat and cozy space at the front of their industrial roasting facility. I had a Columbian pourover, it was delicious. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm passing through.

Cool place, wish we had one in South Bend. I would spend a lot of time and money if we did.

I have been waiting to try their coffee the next time i was in valpo. Now i can say I'm happy I did. The first sip and the sutle aftertaste convinced me to buy a bag of the guatemala IxLama right away to take home. The welcoming atmosphere walking in and being greeted with a preety smile by Julie Ann who after chatting with a bit shares the same love of coffee as much as I do, just made my day. Will definitely be back again.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Valparaiso. Though the location is a bit off the beaten path from downtown Valpo, it's well worth the trip. DG has upped its game with its new, large, and airy cafe space and good variety of drinks. A big plus is that DG is exclusively vegan, both with its drinks and pastries.
