AMAZING food, atmosphere is small town America (my favorite). Staff is great owner does all the cooking (support local owned). A lot of food for your money and quality at that. Seating is limited but turn around time is decent so the wait isnt typically too long.

Stopped for brunch after a local person suggested we try the cafe. Loved the layout and atmosphere! Quaint old school diner with long counter and stools as well as tables. Ordered the Sweetser Skillet which was awesome. Sausage gravy one of the best I've tasted. A side of grilled Texas Toast made a meal too great to consume in one sitting. Only suggestion I'd make is to saute the green peppers longer however my buddy loved them still crunchy. Coffee great as well. Bold flavor and not watered down like so many places these days. Waitress a young lady who worked her tail off serving all the tables by herself. Still took great care of us and kept our coffee cups full. Definitely worth the stop!

I had the BLT and It was awesome just like you would make it yourself. They give you a hand towel with it because a paper napkin just isn't going to do it. I'm really upset I don't live closer. We were working in Sweetser and stopped for lunch.

I am walking across America. Since I left Marion, I was told to have breakfast at the Sweetser Cafe. The food did not disappoint nor the friendly staff. Special shout out to Bri! I wish I could return but I am heading West to California.

Coming back from one of our many trips to Ohio we came into town from the detour and wondered if there was any place to eat in town. We found the cafe and had lunch. Great place, great service and great food. The pies are not great.... they're fantastic!! We'll definitely be back!

Places like this are a true piece of Americana. Cafes and diners have given way to strip malls and big chain restaurants. Being in here feels like I’m frozen in time, with down-home service as if I was a regular (it was my first time there), heaping food portions, a comfy small town vibe, and excellent ingredients (much of it being locally handpicked) which makes breakfast or lunch a wonderful treat. The only downer is that the place closes early. I’d be here all the time otherwise. Wonderful place, great prices, friendly staff. My soul and belly were happy.

Best BLT I’ve ever eaten. I asked the wait staff for their recommendations, and one suggested the BLT. It certainly wouldn’t have been something I gave a second look to on a menu, but man, that woman was right on!! It had to have a 1/2# of bacon on it- quality, thick bacon. Delicious. If I’m ever in this area again, i know exactly where I’ll be eating.

We told the server we were going to be sharing the meal and bless their little hearts they divided the whole meal 50/50 the biscuits and gravy ,the bacon the eggs and even the fried potatoes. My hats go off to them. Great place to eat cozy atmosphere good service. Will gladly return and highly recommend.

This is not a Covid-19 friendly place. If you’re uncomfortable eating within 6feet of another table or at the bar then don’t stop here.

This place was packed by the time we left, but, this town is super small and the most activity is this place and the gas station.

We walked in and sat right away. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Although she did wear her mask upside down. LOL

We ordered our food and waited about 20-25 min for it to come out. The food comes from two areas in the restaurant which means you won’t be getting your food at the same time.

If one orders fried food and non fried food they’re cooked in separate areas.

One of your party could have ate before you get your food. Not cool but it’s how this place operates.

The attire worn could be borderline inappropriate if you’re offended by logos on shirts. It’s basically a free for all on how they staff dresses.

The tables were clean, the bathroom was clean.

The utensils are cheap and thin. Guess it shouldn’t matter but I like feeling some weight with my fork. Good way to cut costs.

The beverage were in cans, priced at 1.25 each. The are not as cold as one would hope.

The food was good, definitely get the biscuits and gravy! I could quite place my finger on it but there was a twang taste with the BLT I got. Might have been the mayonnaise or the bacon. Not sure but I didn’t finish it.

Stop in and give this place a go. Our bill for 5 people was $40 so make sure youre ready for some expense.
