The local coffee house for the Near Northwest Neighborhood. There are no prices for products. Everyone "pays it forward" by donating whatever they feel is fair. Or not. Technically you can simply pay nothing!

Great mashup of people. Great place to meet. Donation coffee. Friendly staff. Fun bar up front. Beautiful window. Thank you for having this resource in our community.

Stopped in for coffee with my Daughter. We absolutely loved the place, coffee and atmosphere ☕️🙂

Great neighborhood cafe! I love their pay it forward concept! You can be there hours talking to people. Its family friendly, with side room in which children can play and one can can have conversation with other neighbors.

Fabulous fair-trade coffee. Pour over and cold brew options. Even their mochas are made with homemade chocolate sauce and whipped cream. A warm neighborhood vibe -- everyone in the coffee shop will say hi to you when you walk in, not just staff. I love this place!
They are pay-it-forward so if you want, your coffee is covered by a neighbor.

The coffee and concept are good, the people are great. The location blows. Straight Outta Compton meets Seattle's best. Can't put nice quiet places in da hood, and you'll never gentrify the West Side. But, nice place while it lasts.

Extremely welcoming and comfortable. The space is intimate and makes you really feel part of the community. I overheard something funky about their whipped cream, but I have no experience with it so I cant confirm

The total concept of this place is amazing. It's a pay it forward café. They have daily delicious specialty drinks that are often made from scratch. Small space with a big heart. I meet friends here to read or just to catch up with local politics.

The local cup is a great spot to have a cup of coffee or tea. Small, quaint and nice local decor. Bring a pal and enjoy some intimate bonding time. Family friendly. I recommended the Duke and the Sweet Sunday.

You know that feeling when you walk into a familiar place where everyone knows your name? The local cup feels like that the first time you walk in the door. And their hot cocoa is splendid.
