Stop at this place frequently, love their sandwiches for lunch. They have a wide variety both hot and cold, all are good. Have given their salsas and jams as gifts. The bakery goods are to die for. A good place to recover from shopping.

Lunch was really good and the homestead atmosphere was very enjoyable ! Was there over the noon hour and very busy- seemed like for the amount of business they had they would have a better way of ordering and picking up food. But would not stop us from going back...

Awesome baked goods the cinnamon rolls absolutely the best along with the carrot cake the jelly store next door sells every kind of jelly and Jam but you could ever imagine that it's all fairly priced good gifts they have samples of all of it so you'll be able to tell how good it tastes before you buy it

I had a turkey BLT panini, very good. So big I split it with someone.

OMG! I've just died and gone to bakery heaven!

Driving Rt. 1 toward Acadia National Park, a roadside stand beckoned. Bakery. Open. Hours.
I'd been searching for a real Maine blueberry pie. So, why not stop on my towards Acadia National Park and give this place a go. So, I pulled over, like right now!! Lucky for me the guy behind me didn't hit me, so I turned around and drove down Back Ridge Road. A bit of a ways, enough to make me wonder, is there a bakery down here? And then....there IT was!! A small bakery tucked into a homestead/antique garage store/bakery combo.

Words can't express my excitement on entering. Wish there was smell-a-vision to share with you! At least 8 types of yummy homemade breads lined the walls: Olive, baguettes, breakfast bread, etc. And many of them came in two sizes: $3 and $5. Then, add to that at least four different kinds of the most tender scones you'd ever want to munch on. Cookies? YES! Oh, and did I forget to mention the Blueberry pie that I was originally searching for?? Well, folks this was the REAL deal. Not too sweet, wonderful crust, and real baby Maine blueberries! YUMMY, SCRUMPTOUS, GOODNESS!

Yes, as you probably can tell, I'm VERY excited by the Breadbox Bakery. They need a bit bigger sign, maybe a couple of em' spaced down the road so you're prepared. However, I walked out with WAY more than a blueberry pie and am SO very happy I did. Thank goodness I had cash. **That's what they deal in folks.

SO, stop at as many ATM's as you can and be prepared to be amazed!

Good soup and nice shop, bake goods looked delicious. I think I gained a pound just looking. They have a nice selection of samples, got me hook line and sinker.
