Great beverage options (coffee and smoothies are really good, don't drink alcohol so I can't speak to that) and a good, affordable lunch menu. Although the food menu is short, there are a variety of kinds of meals.
Also a great place if you just want a beverage and to hang out, do some work, meet somebody, etc. You can customize everything. Locally owned and operated.

Products are fair enough but service has always been incredibly bad. Not just talking about 1 or 2 times. Six times we have been in there and all 6 times, in a row, it has been largely non-existent. I wi use the last time as an example. My wife and I went in, each ordered a drink, pretending to be 2 different people. She ordered first, paid, stood aside to wait. I stepped up and ordered. I got my drink in a reasonable amount of time. I waited for my drink to cool. As I was drinking mine, she had not gotten hers yet. She walked up to check. She was told, "Oh the guy making yours stepped out back, he will be back in a minute." by 1 of the other 2 people who were largely just standing around (place was not busy). I completely finished my drink before she got hers.

Pretty popular spot! I heard they used to have ice cream but don't anymore, which is a bummer. Not a huge coffee fan, but I really enjoy the fact that you can see their beer menu via the UntAppd app on a screen above the counter, also showing recent check-ins. They have a great $6 flight of 4 beers, about 6-8 ounces each. Perfect for trying local brews without investing in a whole pint of something you may not like. The Chicken Tacos were pretty great at 6:30 pm when I normally eat around 5, maybe a tiny bit dry. Will definitely be back.

Roscoe's is my favorite place in Richmond. I always stop in when I'm in town. They have great coffee, and they always have rotating taps with great local beer. The staff is very friendly, and the owners are some of the coolest people around.

Roscoe's is a welcome addition to Richmond's depo-district. Though a bit on the expensive side, the food is amazing, the coffee is great, the tea is wonderful. The locally owned, self proclaimed "coffee bar" has a feel that seems to fallow ever store, shop, and building in the area it's in, and that feel is perfect for this small coffee shop. Bare brick walls are seen on every side of the restaurant, though at the moment, even with local art hung for sale, it still seems bare. The ceilings are extremely high, giving the shop a very reverberating echo sound that lets you hear the ambient noise very well.
The only things that I can really count off for, is sadly, service, it's a little on the slow side, but then again, you have two people working (at least at the time I was there), so personally, they seemed at least one person short, but that didn't detract for being able to have a good time with friends over a cup of coffee while listening to live entertainment.
Roscoe's opens up so many new doors for the area, with open mic nights on Wednesdays, local art hung on the walls for sale, and local talent preforming on weekends at times, Roscoe's fills the void of a locally owned cultural hub that Richmond's had for so long.

Interesting place that combines a nice bar area and a coffee shop. I was here for a friendly new year celebration but would like to return for a sandwich and coffee sometime. Walls are covered in nice artwork from a local artist, making this a unique stop.

It's an excellent place to get great food (vegetarian friendly), good beer, ice cream, and awesome tea/coffee! They often have live local music (shout out to Christian Chism) and a relaxing lounge area. Top it off with good staff, and you've got the perfect evening

Enjoy getting coffee there on the weekends.
