A five star rating seems LOW! The food here is simply AMAZING! Portions are huge, prices are more than fair, and everything is delicious! The owners are very friendly.
You owe it to yourself to try this place, it's going to become a favorite.

Great little spot! Very clean, and whimsically decorated. The food was very very good, with larger than expected portions that made it worth the price. Large variety on the menu, fast service, and polite staff make it a great place to grab a quick, good quality breakfast. I was impressed.

One of the best kept secrets in Southern Johnson County!

My family and I decided to try out Wildflour this afternoon for lunch. We made a to go call in order for 6 adults and 1 toddler.
The experience was definitely mixed. The woman answering the phone spoke so quickly I first thought I had the wrong number. No "Thank you for calling Wildflour how may I help you?" or anything. Just "Wildflour" spoken quickly into the phone from within a loud kitchen environment.
After placing an order for 4 chicken sandwiches, a tenderloin, and a club we were told it would be about 45 minutes. No problem there because we had a few other things to do. When we arrived at the restaurant it was quite quaint and decorated very well. The restaurant was clean and airy. The staff were friendly and very prompt. We ordered some cheesecake and a couple of donuts left from this morning. After getting our order we made the 15 minute drive home.
The chicken sandwiches are delicious. There was no seasoning, but they are quite juicy. The chicken is flavorful once properly seasoned and the toppings do not drown out the flavor. My family seems to like them better than Chick-fil-A.
The breaded tenderloin is huge, breaded nicely, fried perfectly, but underseasoned. By underseasoned I mean none at all. I hate having to add seasoning to my food once its already prepared. All-in-all though, it's delicious and well worth the cost.
The club is ok, not great, but ok. There's lots of flavorful turkey which is nice. The bacon is crisp, but my sandwich was hot. I may have misunderstood the menu, but I thought clubs were generally cold. As a result, the mayo and toppings were warm and a little soggy. The bread was nicely buttered and tasty. I don't recall cheese on my sandwich, but maybe I missed it.
The fries were good. Again, nothing remarkable, but ok. No seasoning here either. The coleslaw was heavily peppered and dry. The potato salad, as well as the coleslaw, were warm. This is very off-putting. We didn't eat much because of this. I'm not sure why the cold sides were placed in the containers with hot food, but this is something that needs changed.
The donuts were good. The cheesecake was ok. Honestly, I've had better cheesecake from the freezer section of Walmart. It wasn't terrible, just bland and very dry.
As I said, this was a mixed experience. For almost $100 I have to say I'm more disappointed than impressed. The sandwiches were generally good, the sides not so much. In fact, I would have to rate them as terrible. When you can't enjoy something because the temperature is obviously off it's impossible to be even remotely complimentary of it.
The good news is, these are all easy fixes. Properly season the food, pack cold items separately, be mindful of food temps, and address some recipes. Just some attention to detail and this is a 4 star review restaurant easily. I hope they step it up, Nineveh deserves a nice little treasure.

I visit here quite often. They're baked goods are delicious. I generally come in for lunch, but it's hard for me to turn away their desserts. The staff are super friendly.

I don’t rate local until I’ve given numerous chances bc I really want to support my community and this place is one I really wanted to like. Unfortunately I just don’t care for this place.
Donuts and cheesecake are super sweet. If you have a super sweet tooth and like overly sweet, then go for the donuts and the cheesecake. I prefer my donuts and cheesecakes more subtle so I can taste strawberry or the cream in donuts. The sweetness is too overwhelming to taste the distinct flavors in my opinion. This isn’t part of my stars bc I know some people prefer theirs sweeter. Just informational
Biscuits and gravy are part of my stars bc they are probably one of the worse places for biscuits and gravy I’ve tried. The biscuits were soggy. The gravy was extremely bland and the worse part is it’s $6 for a half order. I’ll pay for good biscuits and gravy but $6 for this places, is way over priced. Salt and pepper can be your friend. This tasted like it came from frozen and microwaved.
Bacon, egg and cheese stuffed rolls are the only thing I’ve had from here that is worth going back for. They are delicious but unfortunately they rarely have them when I go
I’ve had the grilled cheese and tenderloin sandwiches. They are both okay nothing to be excited about. The taste isn’t worth the price of them but I felt the sandwich size was appropriate for the cost.
The silverware sucks. I get having plastic silverware but they should consider getting a little better quality.
Lastly, the biggest reason for the stars is the service. The owner always seems to want to rush you. Like if you are looking and can’t decide, you can see the impatience on his face. There have been more times than not when there isn’t even a welcome when you come in. No good morning, or hi how are you? He doesn’t even smile when I’ve walked in many of the times. The other staff I’ve dealt with have been okay but the male owner kinda ruins the already mediocre experience for me.
Like I said I try really hard to leave local reviews after giving it multiple chances bc I really want to support local businesses but this one Im just not getting what people see in it.

The BEST place for a home cooked meal out in this area. The owners are amazing people who make you feel like they’ve known you for years when you walk in the door. Large portions for the price! Homemade donuts, fritters, cinnamon rolls, pies, fresh coffee and specialty coffees better than Starbucks. So glad this gem landed in our small town! ❤️❤️

Nice shop with a good choice late on a Sunday. Just wanted a donut so excited to try and hoping great donuts near Nashville.
The Bearclaw was nice and airy dough and a good size. Sorry to say that the taste was so overpowered but the cooking grease that it was not enjoyable.
May try the spot again for a lunch but sorry, still no donuts.

Their cinnamon rolls are so good here, I have made a trip from Indy just to get a few. I love this little town and this little bakery so much. It’s basically right next to brown county but a very easy drive from Indy. There are beautiful lakes and properties around this area too. This bakery is way more than just icing on the cake.

I am visiting in the area and stopped by because I saw the reviews online. These reviews are not wrong! What a nice friendly place and we got the cupcakes. OMG! Probably some of the best that I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot! It is now on my Google maps favorites and we will visit anytime we are in the area!
