Daily Grind Coffee House

The chicken salad croissant and taco supreme soup were out of this world. We took the bread pudding with maple cream home to my parents and they said it was amazing, too. My little girl loved her grilled cheese panini. And the rice crispie treats are the size of your hand!

Had breakfast and coffee, had the Golden scramble, Husband had French toast. Owners very pleasant, food was fast! Did I mention they have had the place for 24 years, now wanting to retire have it up for SALE!🍵

Great coffee shop and nice staff. Whether you are doing homework, reading a book, or catching up with friends, the DG is a great atmosphere. They have a nice variety of coffee and, my favorite, freshly baked scones. Highly recommend stopping by if you are going through Nashville.

If I could give a negative star, I would. The staff, mainly the head guy, is absolutely rude and inconsiderate, as if they don’t even want you there in the first place.
With the town being generally dog friendly and this place having no sign on the door saying otherwise, I was immediately berated “to get my dog out,” and even without him knowing my dogs service status.
I am a local and I remember the horrible owners previously, so it’s unfortunate that these owners have followed that same path. This is my second time having horrible personal interactions there.
Coffee is decent but not worth the $8 they charge. I will not go back and I’ll make it my mission that no one else I know does either.
Getting coffee should be a joy of an experience as it is generally what brightens everyone’s day, so to have a genuinely mean owner of a local coffee shop is very unfortunate as I’m sure he ruins many days for hard working people.

Service at one time was very. That is no longer the case. My daughter and I waited almost an hour for two pounds of coffee - one whole bean and one to be ground. The young girl processing the order obviously did not want to be there as was noted by her less then pleasant attitude. Very disappointing. Will most likely not return to The Daily Grind any time soon.
