North End Cafe

Not terrible food but a terrible value. If I pay $18 for a grilled cheese, a tea, and a cinnamon roll, that should be an award winning meal, not just “meh”.

The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the service was good. Another good thing was the atmosphere. It’s a nice looking cafe. But even that had its problems. I didn’t feel like I could relax and read a book there. I kind of felt rushed but that’s not the staff’s fault. That’s a system problem not a person problem.

I probably won’t visit again. Fuel and Greyhouse and other places offer a lot better value.

I can easily say this is the best breakfast you will get in Lafayette by far! Everything has such good flavor and is not bland! We have ate here three times now and everytime I’ve tried something different. Each time I was shocked with how good it was and was talking about how good the entire time I ate it! I’ve had the biscuits n gravy, cinnamon roll, breakfast tacos, waffle, pancakes and country bfast. All I would eat again! But by far my favorite is the bfast tacos if I had to choose!

Love this place!!!! Food was absolutely delicious and the biscuits and gravy was by far the best I’ve ever had. Staff was very friendly and personable. Great atmosphere and even better food. We will definitely be back soon!!!!

Great menu & servers. It's noisy with the high ceilings and no acoustic tiles.

The food is pretty good, but the portions are relatively small and the avocado is always rubbery :/
