This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the area. Calvin Fletcher's isn't a place that seeks to serve Instagram-ready experiences. Instead, they focus on serving good coffee and doing good for the community at the same time. All tips go to charity. Inside, the decor feels very welcoming to those who feel at home surrounded by plants, local art, and posters about local events. Two of the best things about them lately: They now serve decaf cold brew (!), and they've taken the pandemic seriously. Calvin Fletcher's has signs up right now advising that wearing a mask even while vaccinated is highly advised, and I always see their staff wearing masks. So appreciated in this time.

My first time there, I felt right at home. The staff was so sweet, almost like family. The coffee and scone were absolutely perfect and the beans definitely weren't burned! The atmosphere had it all! There were kids, meetings, people working on laptops, and it was big enough, no one was disrupting anyone else. Amazing coffeehouse!

I have been trying all the coffee shops in and around Indy and Calvin Fletcher's makes a very good late. I had the winter spice late and the flavor melded very well. It was smooth and creamy and the perfect flavor, the only issue I had was I wish it was a little hotter but that's just personal preference! I can't wait until covid is over so I can see them in all its charm with seating.

We walked in right at closing on a Saturday, the guys could have EASILY been rude or curt with us and they were not. They were clearly almost done cleaning up and ready to go and the two nice gentlemen that were there made us two glorious complex drinks with a smile and a kind heart. This was a great first experience, and even though we live no where close, they made this a destination that we will want to return to FOR SURE. Thank You Guys! Awesome Job!

Excellent coffee. Regular coffee is tasty and the espresso has great texture and crema as well as flavor beyond burnt bitter sludge!! Also have some very nice simple foods to choose from. Great atmosphere and comfortable space. The staff are terrifically friendly. Also a plus that the profits go to charities :)
Will be stopping in here next time I'm through Indy

This place is awesome. The coffee is fantastic and the price for a quality pour over is a steal. They source their beans locally and are in the process of getting their own roaster. In my opinion, this is the best spot for third wave coffee in Indianapolis. The place has a lot of character and was busy every time I went. There is a lot of space inside to grab a spot and relax or get work done. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff.

The best dirty chai I have ever had! I will be back.

Very good coffee. Very fair prices. Cool atmosphere. The people here are working hard to make Indianapolis a fun and inclusive city. My one complaint: It's often quite chilly inside.

Great spot for coffee just down the street. Though to be honest I don't think I've ever tried the coffee. I am super picky with chai tea lattes and they made one of the best I've had. I look forward to trying other items on their drink menu!

The place itself has a great atmosphere if you're there to catch up on homework or simply get out of the cold with a warm drink. Lots of local artwork decorate the walls which are for sale if you see something you want to take home.

Staff is always very friendly and gets your coffee out as soon as possible. I've had the line get pretty long and it's tough to stay patient! I think it's awesome they donate their tips to local charity work. They just need the option to tip if you pay with a card because I never carry cash on me. Stop by if you are looking to try something new.

This is another coffee shop in Indy that I want to love, but that's missing the mark just a little bit. While the people and environment are pretty awesome, the coffee and food miss the mark a little bit.

As is my usual, I decided to go with the standard drip coffee. Yes it's a little boring, but it's usually predictable and reliable. Unfortunately the beans were either over-roasted or over-extracted resulting in a pretty strong but unbalanced cup of coffee. I wish that was all, but the food didn't fare much better.

I'm also a fiend for a good breakfast sandwich, and so I was really excited to find one on their menu for under $3.00. My excitement wore of pretty quickly though when they delivered the food, as it was most certainly a microwave breakfast sandwich (from my vast knowledge of breakfast sandwiches I believe it to be of the Jimmy Dean variety).

So here's the rub. Both the food and coffee left something to be desired, but for some reason I still plan on going back. There's something about the atmosphere that I really loved. I'm hopeful that they will figure everything else out in time.
