Antilogy is a formidable new contender for brunch in south Greenwood. That being said, we stopped by for dinner. Here's my experience:
Service - fast and friendly. We were attended to as soon as we walked towards the entrance. Very friendly staff. The food took no time at all to arrive at our table.
Atmosphere - Snappy and modern, yet comfortable. Upscale feeling.
Drinks - Antilogy has a library of bourbon to consider, brunch cocktails, signature cocktails, and a well-curated list of wines and beers. There is only one distiller celebrated in their signature cocktails: Hotel Tango. It's a local favorite, to be sure; but I hope in the future they will rotate in other bourbons featured on their "front page."
The Old Fashioned was more than a touch sweet. They put 1/2 oz of maple syrup and a strip of candied bacon in the drink, making it cloying for my taste. The sweetness masked the whiskey rather than elevated it.
The bourbon & coke I had was also sweet in the way I expect bourbon and coke to taste. Pretty good.
Food - All delicious, no complaints here for the taste. The only option at Antilogy is shareable plates. That's not a bad thing by itself, but not all plates are created equal in size. For example, the fries plate ($14) was generously portioned. It could have been split four ways. Then the Burrata ($17!!) we received was four total bites of food. Likewise with the Slider Trio, it could maybe be split three ways, but then each person would get about one bite of each slider.
My advice would be to ask how much food each plate provides before ordering.
Price - for three plates, two cocktails, plus tip, our bill came to $90. The bourbon cocktails really pushed up the total at $15 apiece. I enjoy a quality cocktail, but that is steep even for downtown Indy, let alone Greenwood.
Conclusion - I would recommend Antilogy for a special occasion dinner or a brunch with friends. It's a brand new restaurant (as of March 2023), and in spite of its few faults, it's fantastic on the whole.
First time and definitely not the last time. Today my oldest son and I had brunch at Antilogy. Food was excellent and our server Sunnie was on point, very attentive, checking on us often. My son forgot to order scrambled eggs. He remembered after our food arrived..she put the order in and got the eggs to him in a timely manner. Upon arrival we did wait 22 minutes. Just long enough to know what we wanted to eat. Between the two of us we ordered avocado toast, vanilla Bourbon French toast, side of bacon, beef tenderloin eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy. The menu included many choices, that all sounded so tasty, we almost ordered more! Everything was oooooo so so delicious. Whatever you order make sure you get the potatoes. Good portions too. Finally, the mimosa flight, four yummy flavors to choose and one is enough for two. I would like to see half portion pancake flight. Like I said definitely will be back.
We had a great evening out at the bar. The atmosphere is wonderful for a date night, and I can imagine it’s just as welcoming for a family at brunch. All our drinks were delicious, and the bartenders were awesome.
My husband and I came here for the first time today and we both loved it. The atmosphere is lovely and our server, David, was awesome. I had the Spanish Latte and it was delicious! We both enjoyed the dishes we got and we will definitely come back to try more. Antilogy is a little gem I can see why it’s so popular!
Fantastic experience!!! Food was out-of-this-world good. Jordan did a great job introducing us to the menu and assisting with selections. The only negative I have is that it was very crowded --- but that's clearly because they are so wonderful!! My wife and I will definitely be back, and we will bring friends!!! If you are in the area, you MUST make it a point to stop and eat at Antilogy!
A great place for cocktails, coffee, and brunch! I was happy to see so many vegetarian options! The food was great, and the service was wonderful as well. Our server today was Mackenzie, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations based on all my preferences. She checked on us frequently, despite it being a full dining room, and overseeing many tables. A+, 100% recommend, a must try! I will certainly be returning soon!
Antilogy is a great place for breakfast or brunch! It's small so try to visit when they aren't busy or there will be a wait. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing!
