Food and service we're great! We had lunch for my husband's birthday.

We sat down waitress comes over doesnt tell us her name. Gets our drink order. Comes back drops drinks off and walks away. Comes back takes our order walks away. Brings our food walks away and never comes back. We waited and waited for our bill. She looked at us and said something else. Took out the trash and still never came over. I had to ask someone else for a box and our bill. I hope nobody gets her as a waitress. I only left a tip cause the food was good and I know that is how she makes money.

The meal was very good and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and didn't make you feel rushed to eat and leave

The food was excellent. We were doing some tower work near by (we're out of the Lansing, MI area). Wait staff was young and good looking. Not very friendly but we had a hard time understanding their humor. Maybe they were just having fun... Who knows. I'd come back for that huge a$$ campfire burger. Also, they wouldn't serve us a coney dog because it wasn't 4:30 yet? Sounds weird being a BEEF place but if that is true than cool. If not true, our waitress was a B!

Service was great,food was over done and not worth the money wont visit there again.

We ate food here. They have pie. There were a few questionable items served, but overall things were good. I wish we would have sat on the newly remodeled side of the place. We ordered a slice of pie to go. I like the name. Name is good. Place is good. My kids enjoyed it.

1 star was generous for this place. Our food took almost an hour to get to us. The most time consuming thing we had was waffles. On top of that the food was disgusting. Waffles soggy, sausage cold and dried out, eggs looked closer to raw than cooked. The service was bad. Getting a refill took 20 minutes. The only thing they got out fast was our check of course.

Food is normally pretty good, but this morning we sat and waited 35 minutes for our food until the waitress communicated that our order was never placed and the chef was not going to prioritize our order. Disappointed.

Awesome staff, HUGE portions of amazing food! This diner is a crown jewel in the small, seasonal lake community of Fremont, Indiana... Homemade desserts, fork-tender ribeyes and arguably one of the best breakfasts in the country..NO JOKE!!! Go early if it's a weekend in the summer, especially holidays, the place gets busy, and for good reason! If you're still reading this, just go already!! You owe it to yourself and your children!!!

Good breakfast! 😊 Yummy seasoned fries and nacho cheese for dipping. Portions are generous. Only negative is that hamburgers are not fresh patties, they're pre-made, frozen ones.
