The food at Dash-in is literally a comfort food. The tomato bisque is super yummy paired with a grilled cheese (which they have alot of options for).
The bartender was super nice and informative. She knew the beer selection well and was able to recommend different types to my friend and I.

Overall, a great stop for someone visiting fort wayne!

I thought it was a really nice restaurant. All 5 of us thought it had a pleasant atmosphere and really good food.

Always have good beer on tap! They also have vegan Tuesday's, which is always super delicious!

The food is wonderful and prices are fairly reasonable. The tomato bisque soup is one of my all time favorites. I gave it 4 stars because the waiter I had was rude. I told him I just had wanted a plain grilled cheese sandwich and he seemed a little confused by that. Then I had to repeat myself and he said " well, what cheese do you want, I am not physchic sweetie". Extremely rude comment to make to a customer. I haven't had any another issues the other times I have been there.

My first experience left me not wanting to return, but I decided to give Dash-in a second chance. This time, however, I was not disappointed. The menu is extensive and full of delicious options, but my favorite by far was the hummus appetizer. Such a variety on a single plate left me pleased with my decision, and my latte from the bar complimented the meal greatly.

I’m not sure how my partner and I have overlooked this place for 2 years living downtown. But jeez have we been missing out. The industrial art vibe is so relaxing and welcoming. The menu has so many options. My partner got an eggs benedict. I got a bagel sandwich. When we were done I literally asked if they had a tiny garden in the back, because that was the freshest breakfast I’ve ever had. I swore they had to have been growing their own herbs.
The staff is incredibly friendly, fun, and polite. I also love that it’s 21 and up. There’s something about enjoying my coffee without screaming children that truly makes it taste better.
Also the art = breathtaking (bonus points bc it’s all for sale)
And you know we all love a queer friendly environment. First thing we noticed was the giant pride flag.
1000/10. They will see us again and again and again.

Dash-In is an older Fort Wayne classic and though things have changed in recent years, they are still in my top favorite restaurants in town. Delicious eggs benedict (florentine on sourdough was particularly good - only available on the weekends) and the grits were just cheesy enough and packed with flavor. Our server only checked on us once and never asked to refill our coffee cups but with the way service at restaurants is these days, we were just happy to be seated and served the food we ordered. The food did come out quickly & they did give us coffee cups to go (which mostly made up for lack of refills...).

I was looking for a place to host a party for a group of friends. I emailed the contact on their website and got a response from Emily the next day. She told me about a private room that could hold us, 22. It worked out great. Emily arranged the room for us to easily see each other and talk. We all had a great time and the food and drinks were great too.
