Crescendo Coffee And More

Coffee was pretty good. But the lady at the counter told me that my card wasn't working and asked if I had enough money, even though I went to the grocery store after and it worked perfectly fine... kind of annoying and embarrassed me. Then the blueberry muffins might as well have been a plain muffin. There was only 3 blueberries in that thing, not worth it, waste of money.

Visited for the first time today. I've been looking for a 'favorite' coffee shop since moving to Fort Wayne, I think I found it. The place is beautiful and roomy, and the coffee quality is amazing, the selection of treats and extras is great. When I used 'coffee language' they understood me immediately. Instantly fell in love with the place.

Had pretty good food. The service....well...lackluster is the kindest thing I can say. Slow and clueless might be a better description. Part of our food was ready fairly quickly. The rest....potato salad...took about a half hour to appear and none of the staff seemed to care.

Most of the team members were friendly and helpful. The gal making the orders seemed to make you feel like you were interrupting her talk time. She tossed my sandwich in the warmer, on its side. This caused the cheese to melt and attach most of itself to the paper.

The food here is good. However, I have had 2 wrong carrt-out orders this year. The first was an egg dish that had pepper all over it...I had inquired about pepper and was told that it did not have any. The 2nd time I specifically ordered a salad with no onion. I repeated it a 2nd time while ordering. When the order was finalized, I said, "no onion on that, right?" She nodded affirmatively. When I got my food back to the office (across town...I went out if my way to get food there) and opened the box, there were onions throughout the salad. I threw the $10 salad away. Perhaps this was retaliation from the kitchen for my asking them to check if the salad dressing had pepper in it. I tried to contact the manager, accidentally called the Crescendo Cafe at Sweetwater, the manager there said they'd get a message to the manager at Bluffton Rd to call me. I never heard back. I feel somewhat discriminated against for having dietary restrictions.

The atmosphere at Crescendo Coffee is pleasant, but the staff can be inattentive to the needs of customers. After I ordered a regular, plain cup of coffee, I waited for several minutes until one of the 5 staff members behind the counter poured me a mug. The staff were conversing among themselves and joking around rather than completing my order. I should also mention that I was 1 of 2 customers in the establishment at the time. So there's really no reason 5 staff members checking their phones and conversing with one another about random topics can't take a minute to pour me a mug of plain coffee soon after I ordered it.

For those wanting a coffee shop to work and have business conversations, this wouldn't be my first pick. On several visits to Crescendo Coffee and More, I noticed crowds of grandparents, families, and small children gathering at the establishment. This is fine, but it creates a disruptive atmosphere when toddlers are slamming their toys on every tables and babies are crying. It's more of a family hangout than a trendy coffee shop.

The shake of the month is quite the deal! Except for march when they were out of it all month long😞

Absolutely wonderful!! So many different drink choice and options for milks and flavors! Super delicious! The treats are fabulous, and again so many to choose from. The lunch sandwiches looked delicious and we will definitely be back to try them!! The staff was super friendly and the place is absolutely stunning!! Great local house!

Got a cup of black coffee and just poured it out on the ground. The flavor had no depth and had very strong sour/tart notes. Maybe it was just that pot, however I was already on the road before I tried it, so I did not have a chance to complain. My wife enjoyed her iced coffee.

I have moved this review from a 3 to a 4 star review because the management offered to make it right. I have not had a chance to take them up on it because I do not live in vicinity.

Really friendly staff. I usually have a regular coffee and a breakfast muffin and it's always fresh. The atmosphere is quiet, if you like to linger in a coffeehouse. If you haven't tried them, do. They're yummy!
