Excellent drinks, food, and pastries. The inside is rustic and cozy and there's also a shaded patio outside under a tree. Plus a drive thru if you're in a hurry. There's a genuine warmth and friendliness from the owners that you just don't get anywhere else.

I wish I lived near here. I would be in this coffee shop every day! Cozy, woodsy feel. Coffee is excellent, especially with a breakfast bagel sandwich. Good soft music, great service. Great place!

- Very friendly - the guy, my guess is the owner, was very welcoming, thankful for me coming to check the place out, and checked in on me

In the words of my wife Geist Coffee is the best coffee shop around. My family has tried several of the specialty drinks and we have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommended Geist Coffee.

Not only a great coffee shop but an amazing place to get lunch! Their food options go above and beyond compared to most coffee places.

Also the staff member who makes the paper cranes and is a big fan of singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks deserves a raise. His name is Steven or something like that.

I could write a book about why I like this place so much. First, the owners kindness is genuine. It's pretty easy to tell when someone is being fake nice and that guy definitely radiates kindness from deep down. No matter what you order or how long you sit with having ordered only one drink, he is happy to serve you. I'm in here weekly and he has been the same way since before I was a regular. In fact, the main reason I am writing this lengthy review is because they are so nice and do such a nice job serving you quality products.

Another thing is the coffee. It is consistently good. I order an extra shot in my cappuccini and at a lot of places that makes the drink very very bitter. The better coffee places with higher quality coffee I've been to the drink is still smooth and a little sweet. This place is one of the places.

Last but not least the food. Ive had the muffins and the salad. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered food here for the first time. Not because the place looks like it wouldn't have good food, but because I thought they would be like most coffee shops that serve food. The salads are made fresh and the chicken isn't that cheap pre-made chicken you get at quick-in places. The lettuce is always green and never wilted. It actually tastes fresh too. The muffin, don't get me started on that. For one the top is always crusted with sugar.... yum. Second, it was like eating a moist cloud. Third, there was whatever the muffin is flavored with in every bite. Now I know the baked goods could be hit or miss each day as far as dryness, but when I've eaten them they have all been a "hit".

Absolutely amazing & insanely good coffee. Every drink I have tried has been so much fresher and better and more flavorful than any other coffee place. Food is good and staff is very friendly. Cannot reccomend enough!!

I love to pickup a latte here in the drive-thru with my wife and newborn and drive past the lake. Highly recommend GCC.

A good interior, great coffee, and excellent service. Never once has disappointed me, and it is run by family, which just completes the feel and makes this place well worth your time and patronage.
