Wish I could give a 4.5. They have great service and it's very comfortable inside, and the coffee is amazing. Just don't order the smoothies. Granted, most don't order a smoothie at a coffee place. I'll certainly go back for the coffee though.

I always like to try out local coffee houses when I travel and the Electric Brew did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was a bit of a rush when I came in and the two ladies behind the counter didn't seem frazzled at all. They remained cheerful and polite and got all their orders done very quickly!
The iced mocha is excellent. Usually there is too much chocolate in mocha-themed beverages... what you essentially get in most cases is chocolate milk that is vaguely coffee flavored. The mocha at Electric Brew is remarkably balanced and rich. I had their dark roast coffee and it was excellent as well! The barista let me try some before I committed to a full cup.
I like how the barista bar is easily visible and you can watch them make your drink. Love the decor and the fact that it's in a historic building makes it even better. If I'm ever in Elkhart again I'll definitely be stopping in for a cup of coffee!

My second favorite coffee shop in the world. The iced caramel latté cannot be beat! Seriously I get one every time because they are so good! A little smaller so don't plan on bringing a large group.

The pumpkin spice latte is amazing. The desserts are amazing. The staff is amazing. If you're in the downtown area and have a craving for coffee or something sweet check them out.

Solid coffee shop in quiet downtown. Hardwood floor. Local art on wall. Alt rock on low volume. Free wi-fi with posted password. About a dozen tables - mostly 4-tops. Only spotted one outlet - certainly not ubiquitous. Open until 8pm (9 on weekends), which is rare in Northern Indiana. A half dozen people when I was there on a late autumn Wednesday around 400pm. Friendly staff. Large selection of decent loose leaf teas including a masala chai. A dozen or so desserts: decent, but all variations of cake. I see some of the other reviews are discussing the food. I didn't even notice a menu, but then I went in looking for tea and dessert. While a 4 star on my global scale, this is a 5 for Northern Indiana.

The barista named Maddi looks like she's the best barista but they're all extremely talented! Delicious coffee!

Used to be The Daily Grind, which was a 5-star coffeeshop. Under the new owners, the place is still good for espresso drinks, but the ambience has become a little more Yuppie. Still, I go in whenever I'm in Elkhart (a thousand miles from my home).

Only been there once but fantastic service and coffee!
