If you’re in Columbus, IN, make sure to check out this amazing coffee bar, complete with a “mommy bar” where kids can play. Great place!

This place doesn’t need to make money.
They open at 8am, but miss out on so many who are heading to work earlier than 8am and want coffee choices other than Starbucks. They also close at 5pm.
When they decide to open the hit coco is delightful.

Great coffee and atmosphere, and the friendliest of people! The baristas do latte art in your cup. Ample seating both indoors and out, cute play area for little humans in the back. Happy to see that business is good enough that they were able to expand to a second location. Just wish they were open a bit later in the evening.

This place truly covers all the bases of being a perfect coffee joint! As someone who didn't think I liked coffee before because of the bad aftertaste big chain stores left in my mouth, this place was like experiencing the true flavor for the first time! I could spend all day here, it's just that inviting of a place! The atmosphere is warm and the furnishings are both comfortable and charmingly rustic-chic. The location is central to the heart of downtown Columbus and blends in well with the modern architecture. Lucabes is always innovating and keeping the menu fresh, the baristas leave you feeling like an old friend, and while the business isn't open the entire day, the possibility of extended hours due to an event or musician is an unexpected delight! You are also extremely likely to have spontaneous meetings with your peers! I love that they keep Sunday as a day of rest before beginning the new week, although I do find myself wanting Lucabes and Chic-Fil-A greater on those days! ;) You won't be overwhelmed by the options because the menu is tastefully simple, plus there are always answers to your questions and good recommendations. There's even an area for your little ones to play in which demonstrates the owner's family values and makes the place child and parent-friendly. Community plays a central part in this coffee shop's culture. I highly recommend being adventurous and trying new things, you won't be disappointed. If you haven't tasted the perfection that is their honey lavender latte than shame on me for not writing this review sooner, go check it out!

My favorite spot for coffee in Columbus. The staff is amazing and the drinks and baked goods never disappoint. Whether you want to sit inside, outside, or take your drink to the office or home, I highly recommend Lucabe.

Delicious coffee and friendly staff. Did have to wait in line a long time because of internet issues processing transactions, but worth the wait.

Love love love Lucabe! Visited downtown location. Very cozy setting and friendly staff. Went with holiday options of gingerbread latte and scone. Will be going back many times!

What a cool spot!
Locally owned, great kids play area, and delicious food and drinks.
You won't miss that chain coffee one little bit.

This is most favorite coffee shop in Columbus and Indianapolis area. The staff is phenomenal there! The interior, service, beverages and food is the best! It is very unique and has a really cool children's corner and stroller parking. More importantly you can sit inside or outside and there's plenty of space. They have got a nice conference room that you can use for meetings or group sessions. Everything about this place is Mind blowing. All of us regular visitors and some of my friends who came for internship absolutely love the staff and their smiling faces. Shout out to Lizzy and Rochelle! The best baristas ever! ☺😍

Good Coffee Shop for Columbus. Espresso drinks get 4 stars from me. Pastries could be better and most importantly they should ask before they heat your pastry. Croissants are not to be heated. Heating a croissant makes them soggy rather than light and flaky like they're supposed to be this was a big disappointment. It should be asked of the customer whether or not they would like their pastry heated.
